The noise! If you like blasting music; screaming, undisciplined children; and ignorant families who yell at each other from all over the property, then, between the direct neighbours partying all day (10:00 am to midnight) for three days straight and the ignorant guests yelling at each other from all over the property, as if it's their private estate, Villa Narmada is the place for you! You'll also be content if you feel "security" means a wide open front lobby door at 1:30 am and the "guard" (the elderly grandfather of the owning family) fast asleep on the sofa, such that I just walked in and past him without waking him at all. (I mean, Mauritius is a very safe country. But, still, other places have gates and alert attendants.) The safe in my room was also an ancient relic, the instructions for which were impossible to understand. At least the closet had a lock and key. Otherwise, sure, the furniture is second-hand, but, the cleaning staff do a dilligent job, everything worked, the pool was well maintained, and management was friendly.

The staff is very kind, each and every one of them. Maybe not too swift in replying the emails, that has to be improved, for sure. The structure is in a great spot, 5 minutes walking to many restaurants and to the beachfront, however it is pretty quiet given the fact that it is located in a secondary alley. The room is huge and has all the facilities for cooking, if you want to dine inside, and it had a lovely patio with pool view where you can chill out. Breakfast was nothing special but anyway was good and did its job. The room was cleaned every day, but definitely not thouroughly, they could do a lot better on that aspect. I had hair both in the shower and on the kitchen floor (and I'm balding, so I dare anyone to say it was mine!). The pillow cover was stained from the beginning and never changed. And please, provide at least one little soapbar or something to shower...I get that this is a cheap accommodation (and I always bring some emergency stuff), but a hotel soapbar costs pretty much nothing and makes every guest happier.

Godt hotel til prisen, rent, rimeligt nyt og meget roligt. Venlige værter og personale.

Excellent séjour, rien à dire.

Comfortable stay in Mauritius.

Hébergement avec tout le confort, piscine et le calme absolu. A 2 mn de Grand Baie et du Super U. Merci à Ruth et à son staff pour le charmant accueil toujours à l écoute. Merci à Sheila d avoir été notre fée du logis , à Rakesh notre chauffeur et guide de nous avoir fait visiter l île, au veilleur de nuit toujours souriant, staff piscine et autre très courtois. Si je devais revenir à l île Maurice je reviens ici.

Tout était parfait: L’accueil par Ruth, l’appartement fonctionnel et agréable avec sa terrasse au rez-de-chaussée, la situation près du centre et ses commodités. Un merci tout particulier à Sheila pour sa gentillesse, son sourire quotidien et son travail fait avec soin. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter !

Villa Narmada, er et kjempekoselig tror det er familiedrevet Vi hadde frokost inkludert, den fikk vi ta når vi ville, de er veldig fleksible. De hjalp oss med fikse egen bil til de turene vi ønsket og være med på, veldig grei måte og se nye ting på. Vårt inntrykk at det var veldig bra der.

Sentral beliggenhet ift butikker som stormarked. Ikke wifi tilgang på rommene. Kun få av personalet som kunne snakke engelsk. Kunne ønsket meg litt mer vennlighet og i møterommene personal, personalet som vasket rommene gjorde en fantastisk jobb. Under vårt opphold bodde det andre gjester som tok helt over fellesarealene, de fikk tilsnakk uten at det hjalp. Mye unødvendig støy, selvom vi var på vårt eget rom. Kommer ikke til å bo der igjen.

Séjour de deux semaines passé en ce lieu ..Le personnel est d'une gentillesse à toute épreuve ...Ruth est une personne charmante mettant tout en oeuvre pour satisfaire nos besoins ...quelques problèmes de wifi en début de séjour ,résolus par la suite sont à peine venu entacher ce séjour ..le plus pour ce lieu est lié à un hyper super U très proche .. Merci à l'équipe

No hot water for first 3 days of holiday. Staff were telling us when we should shower if we wanted hot water. Staff failed to realise my mother is a local Mauritian and when they were speaking about is in Creole my mother understood everything they were saying and she was shocked at how they were speaking about the customers who were staying at the facility. The sofas are all second hand ones that they buy and refurbish and the leather used is not fire retardant and the leather is just stapled onto the actual wooden sofa. Jacuzzi has not worked in years, yet they are busy building an extension to the apartments without even putting any effort into the premises they already have. Security working the front office was drunk every evening as well.

Lovely place to stay in with close shops all around, value for money for any traveller, only thing we did not like was the hard beds

cet établissement est très bien situé à 15mn de la plage et 5mn de super U bien pratique pour faire ses courses car la chambre est equipée pour faire la cuisine ! l'endroit dispose d'une petite piscine nettoyée tous les matins les chambres sont faites aussi tous les jours ( merci SHEILA ) le personnel est acceuillant et vous renseigne bref nous avons passés un chouette séjour nous recommanderons avec plaisir cet hôtel à nos amis

Nous avons été très bien accueilli et la chambre en rez de jardin donnant sur la piscine est top . Le mobilier de la kitchenette serait à changer sinon tout est propre et fonctionnelle

Loin des hôtels « de luxe à touriste » froid et sans vie, ici tout est parfait, le cadre super, la proximité du centre, des commerces, de la plage, etc... le personnel est top, à l’ecoute et plein de bons conseils !

It is a good value for money. The great thing was that we were upgraded from room to apartment (balcony, kitchen and more space). Staff were very polite and communication was easy. Receptionist helped us with some tips, arranging the rent-a-car and transport from/to the airport. We were allowed to have a late check-out which we really appreciated. The only negative thing was that surrounding streets didn’t have street lights so it was not very pleasant in the evening (not because of safety but simply unpleasant)

Appartamento molto spazioso e pulito!le pulizie e cambio asciugamani vengono fatti tutti i giorni escluso festivi e domeniche. Personale super gentile ! Vicinissimo al centro, alle spiaggie di Grand Baie e al supermercato, distano solamente 5 minuti a piedi percorrendo una via secondaria di notte completamente al buio! Consigliatissimo!!!

スーパーまですぐの場所にあり非常に便利。ビーチも近い。 部屋は綺麗に整えられ、調理器具も必要十分。 朝5時チェックインの夜12時チェックアウトという変則的な時間帯だったにも関わらず(オフシーズンだったから？)アーリーチェックインとレイトチェックアウトにも無料で対応してくれ、大変ありがたかった。 シャワーの排水口が詰まっていたこと(自分で直して掃除した)とお湯が出にくかったことだけが少し残念。
