The staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel itself smells like decades of cigarette smoke unfortunately. Turning on the AC in my room helped but did not eliminate the odor. I was only there for 12 hours between my flight arriving and leaving for the bus station, which is only about 100 meters from the hotel. The wifi was very slow so I just used data.

This is really a 1 star motel that's in a very bad location, makes you climb several steps of stairs with your luggage with no elevator, staff are very matter of fact , rooms are tight as a Japanese business man hotel, bathroom lights take 5 seconds to turn on, very cramped rooms, loose toilet seats, water that you cannot drink and are forced to pay $3.50 for a 16oz bottle of water and you get a view of trains, industrial area, and the wifi only works in the lobby. . Oh, and the mattress was very springy (full of springs ) that you can feel all night. On the plus side, the AC worked . If I hadn't already paid for the room. I would've walked out. Stay away.

This is an old, and somewhat depressing property. The only asset is the very close proximity to the bus station.

Hotel Evropa, whilst being on the more "budget affordable end" and priced accordingly for a 3 star hotel, had a number of things going for it positively Hotel was right next to the main Podgorica Central International Bus station (Autobuska Stanica), as well as Podgorica Railway station - excellent and easy to get to and from naturally The Railway station being right next to the Hotel - will take you to Virpaza and Lake Skadar, the picture postcard mountain views of Montenegro; catching a train North from the main rail station would take you to Belgrade, Serbia etc so super conveniently located The staff were very friendly and helpful - always greeting each morning or whenever seen passing And the hotel had a charming and often quiet dining area for breakfast - or evening meals from 7-10pm, and super reasonable prices and very nice food too; buffet breakfast was classic Balkan simple food; it was adequate and what is expected of a 3 star hotel All-in-all, Evropa hotel gets a thumbs up!

Everything was excellent

While the bed was comfortable, and there was hot water, and a working fridge, the venue itself leaves a lot to be desired. It's convenient for the bus station. But the corridor smelled like spoiled milk or vomit and cigarettes. The smell was nauseating.

Excellent reception upon arrival as always at Europa. Staff are tremendous. Room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is really good value for money.

I very much appreciated the friendly attitude of the front-desk clerk, Svetlana, who allowed me to check in at 7:30 am which is when my flight arrived from Budapest. And they let me have breakfast that same morning rather than the next morning, which I couldn't have used due to a very early departure. The bed was comfortable and the shower, though small, produced a nice flow of hot water. All around, a bargain!

hotel is ok, near Podgorica bus station. The WiFi is good, staff are friendly, and shower is good. The free buffet breakfast is ok. However, what lets the hotel down is a major problem with smoking, the whole hotel smells strongly of smoke, including in the hotel rooms. I know smoking (including indoors) is very common in the Balkans, but this odour was intense and made the stay less comfortable

Old hotel. Noisy rooms

Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bahnhofs. Zimmer sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber i.O. Frühstück ist für lokale Verhältnisse eher schwach. Wir hatten in 2 Nächten vor Ort 4 mal einen Stromausfall (im Hotel, nicht in der Stadt). Rezeption sehr freundlich, im Restaurant kommt es auf die Tagesform an.

Front of house was very helpful and would recommend trying the Mix Grill! very good!
