Friendly staff - wonderful room with balcony - excellent dining

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant has excellent seafood options. Everything we ate was great and very large portions.

We stayed one night here. The hotel is situated just outside the main centre of Luderitz but is easily walkable. The room looked directly onto the sea. It is a modernish hotel. We did not use the pool area which appeared closed as the weather was not good enough. We ate in the restaurant which was amazing - wonderful seafood. Breakfast was very good the next day too.

A beautiful hotel, set in a lovely position. The staff are friendly and attentive. Kevin was brilliant ( porter, car washer, and seemed to know everything) Mikael in the restaurant was brilliant to. In the bar Pepie ( sorry not sure how his name was spelt) he was helpful and friendly too.

Top notch hotel. Modern and well kept facilities with great views of harbor.

Das aussergewöhnlich freundliche Personal ist hier hervorzuheben. Die Bettwäsche war herrlich gemütlich für das kühle Lüderitz. Wunderschön direkt am Meer gelegen. In der Nacht hört man die Wellen was auf uns sehr beruhigend wirkte. Die Küche bietet eine sehr gute Auswahl an Speisen. Alle unsere Sonderwünsche wurden ohne Nachfrage direkt erfüllt. Durch die zahlreichen Reisegruppen die dort übernachten, war es im Speisesaal zumal etwas laut. Auf den Zimmern gibt es einen ausgedruckten Guide mit allen Infos zum Hotel und möglichen Aktivitäten in der Region. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen

Utomordentligt fint hotell med en superb restaurang. Superbt läge nära centrum och havet.

I usually write some cons about hotels I have stayed in, but I really can't think of any this time. The location is great, overlooking the ocean; the restaurant was great - the food was fine for both dinner and breakfast. The staff were helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.

I like the sea view

Over the years we have seen many hotels around the world. For the past 12 years we have always been drawn to the Nest Hotel while traveling in South Africa and Namibia. It is our considered opinion that this is one of the very best hotels of any class or price range. Ulf Grünewald has created a true miracle in this harsh spot, an oasis in the desert. The rooms are perfect, the view from your balcony over the ocean is fantastic from a few meters above the water level. Breakfast, meals, and service in the restaurant are flawless. Everytime we leave we cannot imagine that anything could possibly be improved, only to discover on the next trip that Ulf and Daniela have managed to raise the bar even higher. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Das Nest Hotel war vor Jahren der Grund, weshalb wir nach Lüderitz gefahren sind, und wir waren in wischen fünf Mal dort. Lüderitz und Umgebung haben Ihren eigenen Charm und sind ideal, umsich bei Meerluft zu erholen - aber das Nest Hotel macht es zu einem unwiderstehlichen Ziel für uns.

Extremely friendly staff and stress free environment! I will definitely go back when traveling anywhere near Lüderitz.

Passt schon - das Nesthotel ist eine gute Unterkunft

Es handelt sich wohl um das beste Hotel vor Ort. Allerdings ist es nicht sehr komfortabel und ich weiß nicht woher 4 Sterne kommen. Die Fenster waren so undicht, dass der für Lüderitz typische Wind durch alle Ritzen in die Zimmer zog. Trotzdem das Hotelpersonal die elektrischen Heizungen auf 30C gestellt hatten, lag die Raum- (und damit auch die Badezimmer) Temperatur nur bei 14C. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber keine der angeboten Reservierungen (Tisch für Abendessen, Bootstour) wurden durchgeführt. Man entschuldigte sich sehr, aber so etwas darf in einem guten Hotel einfach nicht wiederholt passieren. Schade
