Nice place, reasonable price

I have stayed at this property during my last two visits! It’s an excellent hotel near a very popular shopping destination, Thamel, in Kathmandu, Nepal. The price is reasonable, the rooms are small but very clean and like the ambience. They gave me an upgrade with a great view of Kathmandu. I loved the food at the Japanese restaurant and the breakfast had a lot of variety. Their customer service is the best. Big should out Sunita G and Rahul for their excellent customer service. I highly recommend this hotel.

I’m glad I chose this hotel. First of all, location, location, location! It’s close proximity to all the stores and restaurants in Thamel. It’s very convenient. Speaking of that, there is a convenient store that is really close to the hotel which closes at 11 or 11:30 pm. Breakfast is fine. My first day was just average but second day is way much better. My main concern is the shower area. The water doesn’t drain faster than it’s supposed to do, but that doesn’t make me give them a lower score, because all the staff have been Amazing. They are very accommodating and just helpful to all my inquiries and needs. I applaud all the employees there starting from the staff at the reception area, cleaning personnel and the restaurants at Kava. You guys have been doing above and beyond to your guests and I appreciate that. I’m planning to come back here in Nepal in a year or two and will definitely book again at Fairfield Marriot hotel. Thank you to all of you.

Wonderful stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was equally great. Location was great - a short walk to Thamel and out of ear shot from major traffic. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly check in, very quick staff. Room was clean and well stocked. Safe/ easy walking to shops and restaurants. Front desk helped arrange a taxi back to airport, and they arrived quickly. Appreciated bottled water in the room, along with coffee/tea. Definitely recommend!
