Wonderful hotel. Best part of our stay was the restaurant

My second trip to Kathmandu, first time in this hotel. It is amazing in every way. Buffet breakfast excellent, bed/pillows super comfortable, room clean...no complaints at all. Beautiful view of the hills from the window. Will definitely stay again.

While its location is a bit out of the way, the Hyatt excels at friendly luxury-hotel level customer service at half of the price of the other luxury hotels in the city (we also stayed at the Marriott on this trip and this was by far the better experience). Everyone from reception and restaurant staff to housekeeping went out of their way to ensure we had a first rate stay. It didn’t go unnoticed. We hated to leave after our week exploring the region. I know I’ll come back to Kathmandu and when I do, I’ll stay here. The staff earn all five stars and they should be incredibly proud of the service they offer at this hotel (even if it is out of the way).

Just was looking for a homely feel and a shower. Nothing major that bothered me much but the shower door was letting the water out and toilet area was soaked. I used the towels. Room # 911.

This place is amazing because of the helpful staff. Everyone who I encountered at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They made my stay an excellent one.

We spend 4 nights and the attention and service from all the staff was great! Plus the breakfast was delicious. Another plus was the great view!

The service personnel all around (desk, restaurant, bar) was outstanding!! Kudos to the general manager for upholding such high standards. The rooms were clean and throughly enjoyed my 5 day stay. They have set a new standard for me regarding hospitality

After staying at a hotel in Thamel for 4 days with no hot water and limited electricity, I decided to treat myself to a few nights at the Hyatt Place and am so HAPPY I did! From the moment I arrived, I was in heaven - the staff were welcoming, the room was gorgeous, and best of all - HOT WATER!! The restaurant downstairs does a fantastic job at room service as well as lunch and dinner and overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my stay at the Hyatt. If and when I visit Kathmandu again, no more roughing it, I am staying at the Hyatt Place!
