Hotel is pretty run down. Horrible smell coming from the halls. Bed is super comfy. Bathroom again run down but works. Hotel is in a good central location. There is a vending machine for snacks and drinks but it is extremely expensive. There is a big underground car park across the street

If you are looking for a very small room, with no service, this is the hotel for you.

Tudo muito antigo, box fora o eixo com uma parte quebrada, puxador para abrir o box faltando do lado de dentro, ficamos no andar que fica material de limpeza, ao abrir a porta do quarto tinha que prestar atenção se a porta do armário de toalha não estava aberto impedindo a passagem. Muito barulho do quarto de cima. Dificuldade para abrir a porta pois o cartão tinha uma posição específica que não era a mesma. Quarto muito pequeno, de esbarrar nas coisas.

Good hotel

Well located as walkable to everywhere. We had a family room which was disappointingly very different to the booking photos. We were in a basement and so had the noise of the tram, passers by and the apartment above which disturbed our sleep. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. City tax was £20 more per night than expected. This made the room at £250 night with no breakfast quite pricey. Front of house were professional but very unwelcoming and need to learn to smile!

Great location. Not the most clean room/apartment. A lot of noise from upstairs, but nice neighbourhood.

Second stay at the avenue hotel. Pros - lovely friendly staff, great location. Cons - rooms slightly tatty. I Would stay again, however I would pay extra for a better room as the hotel on the whole is a nice ,safe place to stay.

The check in went slow. It was almost 3 pm and the room weren’t ready yet. We had to to wait and the guy who did the check in didn’t seem to be wanting to work. After I gave a bad review on the the check in they came knocking on our door at 9:40 pm. We had 2 sleeping children that they woke up. Toilet were very small, hard to get in, water leak from when showering. Floor were all wet. Very thing walls and door, we could hear EVERYTHING. When checking out the woman were busy with something and asked me to go to on the other side instead of coming to me. Over all very bad experience! Only positive is the hotel location.

Stanza con malfunzionamento dell'aria condizionata. Ci hanno accusato di aver fumato in camera solo per aver visto dei mozziconi di sigaretta elettronica che civilmente non avevamo lasciato sulla strada per assenza di apposito posa mozziconi. Ho notato che la stessa esperienza di multare i clienti succede spesso in questo Hotel, mi sembra quasi una scusa per farsi pagare 250 euro di multa per non aver fumato praticamente in camera. Succede spesso e solo in questo Hotel? Chissà perché e soprattutto i dirigenti andrebbero informati che gli appositi rilevatori di fumo andrebbero sistemati se non funzionanti, perché potrebbero essere l'unica via legale per confermare di aver fumato in camera. Non c'è stata flagranza di questa assurda presunzione di accuaa ed essere minacciati di dover lasciar la struttura una volta incolpevolizzati, cosa che spinge tutti a pagare la multa per evitare ulteriori costi extra ad Amsterdam. Bravissimi siete proprio bravi, EVITATE QUESTA STEUTTURA! ITALIANI STATE ALLA LARGA DA QUESTA POLITICA ASSURDA CHE LORO SOLO ADOTTANO!

I’ve stayed here on many visits over the last 8 years. I love its location, cleanliness, and staff. Will return on my next stay in Amsterdam.

Pontos positivos: localização, quarto e café da manhā. Pontos negativos: internet super ruim, quase não pegava dentro do quarto e box do banheiro que vazava água pra fora .

Pillows were awful! Just full of air. The doors are also very loud from other rooms

A localização é excelente, mas o quarto é muito pequeno. É só para dormir mesmo e aproveitar a cidade. O pessoal foi cordial. Meu quarto particularmente era muito quente, tivemos que usar o ar condicionado em pleno inverno europeu!
