What a great older hotel! The staff was so kind to put us in a high floor room, which in itself was a fun adventure to get to! It was cozy and comfortable and so quiet! I slept better than I had our whole trip. Small room at a great price perfectly situated between the central train station and Dam square- a comfortable walk everywhere we wanted to go. Check in and check out were friendly and efficient!

You get what you pay for, you can’t complain. 5 stars as it just a walk away from the main train station and it is right in the middle of Amsterdam city Centre. Be prepared to walk up stairs as there was no elevator for the building. Once I arrived my room was actually upgraded to a better room which was nice but at the very top floor. I’m fairly athletic so it was not much of a hassle for me.

Apart from the location, nothing good!! The single room was so tiny and the bed was like a kids bed, i kept falling off! It was not a single bed!! The toilet/bathroom so tiny, hardly space to sit. No lifts and very narrow stairs. Dont go here if you have mobility issues!

Kamertje was wat uitgeleefd. Wc en douche was apart. Die vloer was SUPERGLAD. Op de wc zitten als je langer bent dan 1.90 was een avontuur op zich. Maar wat wil je verwachten voor die prijs. Het was niet het Krasnapolsky. Of Okura.

The hotel is located right at the center of the city, accessible by tram, train and car. Shops, restaurants and cafes are right at the hotel location. It's walking distance to the Amsterdam Centraal Station and the canal cruise stations are just across the street. The room is clean and provided with amenities. The service is good with a special mention to Mario at the reception who is very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable.

It was located literally at the city centre. However, because of this. It was slightly noisy. Even up till 2am in the morning. Luggage storage was literally just at the lobby, we didnt feel safe having our bags left there so we rather pay and store them at central station.

Showers and washrooms outside the room. It is a dorm inside the city. Cheap and that is what you get for that price.
In all honesty; the Amsterdam Marathon was on and all hotel prices were incredibly inflated. You go for cheap, you ride it out.
