I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Estheréa. The location is perfect, the staff is warm at times, short at times too, and the atmosphere feels both elegant and cozy. Everything about the hotel is beautifully done, from the décor to the service. The only drawback was that the room itself was quite small, which made it feel a bit tight. Aside from that, it was an good experience and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Beautiful hotel that is in a wonderful side of the city. Restaurants are close and everything is very walkable! Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel in great location small but attractive rooms

Beautiful boutique hotel and rooms. Love that all the rooms are unique and decorated differently. Enjoyed the complimentary coffees and treats to enjoy in the various seating areas off the lobby. Will come back again!

Hotel Estherea is in an EXCELLENT location with many attractions and outstanding dining options all within easy walking distance. The facility is very clean and well-maintained (though the rooms are typically small and quirky as many European hotels of this vintage are). My big concern (and disappointment) was the level of service for a hotel in this price range and star rating. We carried our luggage up and down the stairs into the hotel on both arrival and departure - no evidence of bell personnel. We also were responsible for getting our luggage up to our 4th floor room and back down again when we were leaving. The ice machine was broken (which happens) but the response of several personnel was "sorry, there's not much we can do because the bar is short of ice as well". One personnel even suggested that I could get a bag of ice at a grocery store 300m away) I totally realize that these concerns are the definition of "first world problems" but our overall experience was not what we had expected for this calibre of hotel (and price point).

The hotel was beautiful, and the location was lovely near the Singel canal. The staff were extremely friendly and were able to accommodate our requests and answer our numerous questions about the city.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The interiors are gorgeous. We had a beautiful room with a great canal view. The public spaces are luxuriously decorated. Loved the free coffee and snacks. Will definitely stay there again next time I’m in town

Well placed hotel with easy walkable access to cafes etc. Beautiful and unique decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only issue we had was very little clothes storage in the room.

Great stay from start to finish! The hotel is fabulously presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and in excellent condition and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Tea and coffee on tap in the lobby was a welcome treat. The location was great for walking access to everything we chose to do.

We really liked this hotel. It’s in a great spot, and it’s super cute. Loved the free coffee, water and goodies in the blue room, and just the overall look of the hotel inside. Our room was adorable - the only thing we didn’t like was the toilet. Appreciate it being separate from the bathroom itself, but I don’t know how someone tall goes to the bathroom in that tiny thing. The breakfast was just ok - I saw reviews raving about it but I don’t get why. I wouldn’t spend the money on that again, but I’d definitely stay at this hotel again if i were to get back to Amsterdam.

Charming and comfortable but some staff has… an attitude.
