That’s an old building but room is clean and tidy inside. Staffs do house keeping daily to renew towels and they all very friendly. Excellent location which just 5 mins walk from Ams central station. Recommended!

Very good location -- near Stockholm Central Station with a number of eating places nearby. The hotel has a very good restaurant serving Dutch dishes. The owner kindly let us check out late for two hours without any charges as our flight was at 7pm.

This hotel has a great location — it’s very close to Amsterdam Central Station and has an elevator! They also offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which is very convenient for travelers. However, our first night happened to be a Saturday, and from evening until early morning, there were a lot of drunk or partying people yelling, shouting, or laughing loudly right on the street below our window. Fortunately, it was our first day in Europe, and due to jet lag, we were all exhausted, so the kids still managed to sleep. I'm not sure if it's possible to install soundproof windows in such an old building, but it would definitely help with the noise. That said, the lack of air conditioning is another issue. The beds were also too soft for our preference. I would recommend light sleepers avoid booking on weekends. The best part of our stay was the breakfast — it was quite generous and fresh.

The hotel staffs are very helpful. The restaurant staff choose different candle color on tables and it is interesting. The age of hotel is 450 and with poor soundproofing. I heard footsteps upstairs in midnight. However,the convinence of transporation ,the friendliness are owesome.

Ingen ac på rummet men vi fick ett rum högt upp med stora fönster som var öppet dygnet runt. Dag 2 kom personalen med en fläkt. Lycka! Rena o fräscha rum. Underbar personal. Ok frukost till 1030 varje dag. Sååå centralt! Hit kommer vi igen! Inget lyx men så bra allting. Rekommenderas

My room was clean (although very, very small, even for a single -- and the bathroom was ridiculously tiny as well), the restaurant provided a generous breakfast, and the location was convenient. My major complain was the unavoidable noise, caused by screaming, singing, drunk crowds going into and out of the bars downstairs (directly below my window) at all hours of the night. While the hotel can't control its location directly above multiple rowdy bars, it CAN -- and should -- install modern, noise-reducing windows, given how unbearably loud the very popular, tourist-mobbed (and locals-mobbed) neighborhood is at night. Even when my window was closed, I could hear every word being shouted or screamed or sung on the street below, just as if the crowds downstairs on the street were in my room. This is a problem that can be fixed. And unless/until it is, I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Had the room with 5 twins. Nicely clean and spacious for our group. The room got too warm which made it a bit uncomfortable. They have fans which help. Breakfast simple but tasty. Wish there had been more outlets closer to the beds but no issue charging all our stuff. Great locations. Less than 5 min to Central Station. 20 minute easy walk to Anne Frank. Plenty of food options close. Would stay again.

No es moderno, no tiene lujo, no tiene aire acondicionado, el desayuno es bueno, no obstante, cumple con lo necesario para dormir y salir al día siguiente a conocer.

Very good stay in the middle of the city centre. So convenient. Highly recommend.

close to train station, has an elevator rooms facing the street very noisy party groups moving up and down the street till early hours of the morning and this was during the week and not even a holiday bring earplugs or try for a inside room if possible.

First of all the staff were excellent, we enjoyed chatting to people like renee and katja. The bar was excellent with a decent selection and a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Sitting out front with a beer was a great place to pass the time. Id have the cheese and ham toasties if you want a decent snack. The onsite vending machine was useful when coming back in the evening to get some bottled water and snacks for the room. The hotel is located in a great place to explore the centre of amsterdam and close enough to transport links for places further away such as the riejksmuseum and ajax stadium. Overall we stayed for 4 nights and didnt have anything to complain about other than church bells waking us up. Great place to stay and we are already planning another trip.

I can only tell about my room, I guess there are better ones in the hotel . The hotel is a one-star hotel Certainly not 3 as it is shown. . The location is good, the breakfast is good, the staff is nice, that's all the good things. The room is shabby, not clean, and everything is old. There are tears around the bed. The chair is torn from the bottom. There is no safe in the room, no pencil or pen for writing. The sink is separated from the bathroom and is inside the room. I am in hotels through Expedia. This is the worst I have been to. Very disappointing
