Very good location -- near Stockholm Central Station with a number of eating places nearby. The hotel has a very good restaurant serving Dutch dishes. The owner kindly let us check out late for two hours without any charges as our flight was at 7pm.

This hotel has a great location — it’s very close to Amsterdam Central Station and has an elevator! They also offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which is very convenient for travelers. However, our first night happened to be a Saturday, and from evening until early morning, there were a lot of drunk or partying people yelling, shouting, or laughing loudly right on the street below our window. Fortunately, it was our first day in Europe, and due to jet lag, we were all exhausted, so the kids still managed to sleep. I'm not sure if it's possible to install soundproof windows in such an old building, but it would definitely help with the noise. That said, the lack of air conditioning is another issue. The beds were also too soft for our preference. I would recommend light sleepers avoid booking on weekends. The best part of our stay was the breakfast — it was quite generous and fresh.

The hotel staffs are very helpful. The restaurant staff choose different candle color on tables and it is interesting. The age of hotel is 450 and with poor soundproofing. I heard footsteps upstairs in midnight. However,the convinence of transporation ,the friendliness are owesome.

Easy to find, very close to the central railway station. Room is okay, but there are steps you have to aware on the room. TV is small and hanged too high, not comfortable for viewing.

Ottima colazione, personale cordiale e preparato, hotel old style ma nel complesso funzionale. Posizione impareggiabile, a due passi fa tutto. In questo hotel ha alloggiato Chet Baker ed abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere la stessa stanza con vista sulla stazione e chiesa di San Nicola. Se ripasso per Amsterdam, torno qui sicuramente!

Great area got a free room upgrade to an apartment that was just across the street a bit was great as I was the only one staying so way better than just a single room. Was there for 5 nights and having a fridge was a bonus. This was also my 3rd stay with this hotel and will definitely be back soon. Great staff also 👍

Beautifully clean room with a wonderful restaurant providing a wide range of local and international dishes. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to assist guests. A short two minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station makes the Hotel Prins Hendrik on Hendrikkade the ideal location from which to explore the amazing City of Amsterdam, Thank you for our stay Hotel Prins Hendrik.

Room was ok albeit filled with furniture that had seen better days. Windows need to be at least double glazed to keep out the street noise. No coffees making facilities and even a bottle of water in the room. Overall not a great experience

Perfect central location; couldn’t ask for better access to transport. Shops and landmarks walking distance away. Friendly staff. Rooms clean and neat.

Cool old hotel. Very quirky. Very close to the train station and night life.

Great location. Room worked well for us as a family of 5. Can be a little loud in the evening with pedestrian traffic but the location makes up for it.

ideal location for central station, lovely onsite pub and restaurant, breakfast offering more than adequate for most people. Only potential drawback is location is somewhat noisy and may be too much for some light sleepers. literally a few steps to shops, bars and food offerings of all sorts.
