Nice Hyatt, rather on the outskirts of town. Great Indonesian restaurant onsite for breakfast and dinner, but not a lot of other eateries around. Easy to get to the Musuem district, not as easy to get into central oldtown Amsterdam.

Very nice staff at this Hyatt. Convenient for public transportation. The hotel is right on the tram transport to the museum quarter which was so convenient and easy.
I have to say the on site cafe was not that good. Very limited option for dinner. Our food arrived cold. We should have sent it back since dinner for 2 with 1 cocktail each no dessert or special water was 145 euro. The food was not very good regardless of the 4.5 star ratings. We had excellent food elsewhere so idk. Did not eat breakfast there because of our poor experience so idk about the breakfast service.
There are food options around this hotel very close that mostly cater to the University crowd, but you can walk and find food. We had breakfast in two places near the hotel that were very good.
The hotel provide nespresso cups but not really coffee for two people and unlike many other hotels no free coffee service in the morning.
If the manager is listening your restaurant needs to up its game. Blandest Indonesian food I’ve ever had, inconsistent bar service I had a cocktail at dinner excellent two days later in the bar not so good. Poor wine selection by the glass as well.
I know it seems like a complaint but the hotel is very nice and I will recommend it.
One reason we picked this Hyatt is close to metro, on site bar and restaurant.

A very nice hotel opposite a university area. Hotel is nice and relaxing feel inside with an air of corporate feel in the air. Staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble at all.
Club lounge access was a real treat, staff working in this area made it a joy to relax and help yourself to food and drinks.
You can hear the tram outside, it’s not very loud but you can hear them going past.

Absolutely amazing hotel. I was so so happy with my stay. It was incredible. From the staff to the rooms. The showers were so big even though we had a standard room. Staff are so friendly, caring and tentative. Super clean hotel and lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was so good too. Definitely staying here again.

My stay was excellent. The location was convenient, the room was clean,comfortable and spacious. staff was friendly and helpful. I had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel. No welcome chocolates or biscuits though! And only two small complimentary water bottles supplied in the room which wasn’t enough. Had to queue to be seated for breakfast both mornings of stay which was a bit annoying but apart from my minor grumbles it was a lovely hotel.

Visited Amsterdam briefly with my child to see the Amsterdam Light Festival. The hotel's location was ideal—within walking distance of the festival and easily accessible to the city centre by bike or metro. Despite its convenience, the area was quiet and peaceful, not too closed to the usual crowds. There were charming cafés, shops, and even a supermarket right nearby, which added to the convenience.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was in excellent condition. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh ingredients and high-quality dishes that made for a pleasant start to the day.
The executive lounge was also impressive—quiet enough to work in and offering an excellent selection of finger foods during happy hour.
Every aspect of the hotel met or exceeded expectations. The option to rent bicycles was a bonus and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. I’ll definitely return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

10/10 visit. Clean, comfortable room with a beautiful channel view; exceptional breakfast with tons of options; kind, helpful staff. Bar on first floor served great food and the best mulled wine that I have tasted so far in Europe. Shower had both a “rain” shower head from ceiling and a hand-held option. Great visit that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
