In summary one of the poorest hotel quality I can get for the last 10 years. We booked the deluxe twin bed room for 3 nights in Bergen. Whilst it says deluxe it’s actually two tiny beds which is surely not a standard single bed. We picked the hotel due to its location but actually there are plenty of better choices. First of all we took over 20 hours to get to Bergen and desperate for a good rest. We were woke up by heavy rock music at 2am in the morning. Then the music lasted till around 4 am and then we can only sleep after this. The hotel staff said this is nothing they can do for the music from the night clubs ! Then we went out on the following morning and came back to the hotel at around 4pm as we were also tired due to jet leg. So surprised when we opened the door that the room has not been cleaned at 4pm! Then the room is strange that sometimes there is no electricity for certain lights and the ventilation. We asked the hotel staff if this is part of the environmental friendly policies. The answer is no and he can’t figure out why this is the case. Bergan is a very pretty place and have lots to see. My advice is not to stay in this hotel if you want to have a peaceful and comfortable trip.

The hotel is big with lots of rooms but the rooms are arranged in a way that there are lots of corridors and it may be difficult to locate a room. Rooms are clean and stylish, with reasonable space in this expensive city. Room facilities are also good. However, staff if the reception is not helpful. We asked for their help to call taxi to go to airport on our date of departure but he seemed not willing to do so. Although he agreed to call taxi for us, we eventually waited for half an hour with no taxi coming. The staff was not willing to help us follow up with the taxi company even on our repeated requests. We eventually need to find taxi on the street on our own. Service is a big issue.

The room was spacious, and we had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Norge. We were able to check in a little earlier than the official time, just as I had requested when I booked the room. We also received an extra mattress without any issues. We used the swimming facilities, although there was an additional charge of NOK 250. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended. Just 5minutes walk around the city of Bergen.

I checked in at a bad time in the afternoon with lots of others checking in at the same time, but after abt. 10 minutes I was checked in by a very helpful and smiling woman. Thnks!

Skjønner ikke at du må ha med ID og fysisk kort. Der er vel ganske få som går med lommebøker nå til dags? Jeg har alt på mobilen - ID-app og kort, men kortet måtte settes inn i terminalen. Ganske gammeldags tenker jeg....
