The hotel has a privileged location, next to royal palace and a train station, the staff is friendly and intended to do the stay comfortable! I stayed In two Scandic hoteles during my stay in Norway and they were an excellent choice!

We had a lovely stay at Scandic Holberg, staff, service, location and breakfast all excellent, one small thing we were in a corner room and the bathroom was very small other than that great stay

We loved our room, which was well appointed and comfortable. It was an easy walk from the train station. The breakfast was excellent! We would recommend the Scandic Holberg to anyone staying in Bergen.

Huone ja kh olivat epäkäytännölliset. Huoneessa ei ollut minkäänlaista kaappia tai hyllyä, missä olisi voinut pitää vaatteita/tavaroita useamman päivän viipymisen aikana. Tilaa isollekin kaapille olisi ollut. Toiselle yöpöydälle mahtui kännykkä, juomalasi ja tilaa jäi luottokortin kokoinen alue eli sekin oli täysin riittämätön. Ilmastointia ei voinut säätää -> oli liian kuuma -> yöllä oltava ikkuna auki -> muutaman minuutin välein kulkevan raitiovanun meteli. (Raiteet mol. puolin taloa)
Kylpyh:ssa ei ollut naulakkoja pyyhkeille vaan ainoat säilytyspaikat olivat suihkukopin alueella, missä ne olisivat kastuneet suihkussa käydessä. Suihku"kopissa" oli vajaalevyinen ovi, jolloin suihkussa käydessä koko kylppärin lattia kastui. Silti lattiapyyhkeitä ei ollut tarjolla. Myös kylpyhuoneen laskutila oli todella niukka. Suihkukaapissa ei ollut mitään laskupaikkaa esim. shampoopullolle yms. Tarjolla oleva shampoo/suihkusaippua ja hoitoaine olivat seinässä noin 1,5 metrin korkeudella, joten pitkälläkin ihmisellä oli vaikeuksia ottaa niitä pumppupullosta. Suihkusekottajan kaikki toiminnat olivat nurinpäin siihen verrattuna, mihin olemme tottuneet.
Aamupala oli normaali mutta aamupalasali oli tosi meluisa. Kaikki äänet kaikuivat.
Henkilökunta ei tervehtinyt paria poikkeusta lukuunottamatta. Pois lähtiessä ei kysytty, oliko kaikki hyvin tai miten on viihdytty.
Valitessamme Scandic-hotellin oletimme tekevämme varman hyvän valinnan. Tällä kertaa valinta oli kuitenkin virhe.

Trikken kjører forbi hvert 10-ende minutt til langt på natt og starter opp igjen tidlig på morgenen. Bodde i 2.etasje og ble sterkt plaget av dette bråket.

Fasilitetene kunne gjerne hatt behov for litt oppussing. Gulvplater med glipper, dør til bad du måtte bruke makt for å åpne og lukke, og veldig lytt, både ut og til gangen.
