Had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Marina Lodge. The Condo was in very good conditions and was very comfortable. The staff was always helpful and check-in was easy and smooth. The location is perfect with sights to the beach and just a few minutes walking from Playa Venao but still far enough to keep a quiet and relaxing environment in the area. Everything was good, I'd love to comeback!

Great news place, 2 min from all the loud places but it has charm and very nice. Great family room for people traveling with teens

Muy buena ubicación. En el lugar hay mucha paz y tranquilidad. El personal de muy alta calidad y atienden a la perfección. Un menú bastante completo. Un bar bastante completo. Piscina y acceso a la playa de forma directa.

Love that this property is at the other end of the beach from the late night partying. Walkable beach. Great restaurants nearby. The property was adding coffee makers and mini fridges the day we were leaving. Great staff, restaurant and drinks. We’ve been twice with our pooches. Will be back

We recommend it if you want to be away from the busy and noisy area of Playa Venao. Very safe, pleasant and quiet. You can have nice dining experience at walking distance at the other hotels and restaurants in the area.

The room doesnt include a coffee maker or a microwave. the resort charges you $2 per cup of coffee. They have a jar of cookies that they also charge you $2 per cookie.

If you’re looking for a place to get a quiet peaceful night of sleep, this is NOT it. The photos and description are drastically misleading. The place is in desperate need of cleaning and repair. The service was non-existent. And the the price, for what you get is insane. The prior 2 nights we stayed at a 5 star golf and beach resort an hour a way, for a lot less and the service was impeccable. This will be my last booking on hotel.com as I’m not confident in the accuracy of the property from seeing photos and descriptions.

Gorgeous old school resort

The staff were very friendly, the location was right on the beach and the view was amazing. The showers were warm and the rooms had good temperature control. The restaurant was also very good, the breakfast was delicious.

Staff, room, location and beach were all amazing!! Only thing to stay away from: I would not recommend the evening turtle adventure. It was a terrible experience, no turtles, no expectations, no customer focus - painful and a bit scary from the taxi driver there to the whole experience trying to get back to the hotel. Horse back riding was amazing - great tour guide - I HIGHLY recommend this one!! Again, beach was amazing, staff was great:)

Quiet hacienda style hotel, steps away from the beach. Highly recommended if you want an affodable get away

Nougat agradable pero necesita mantenimiento por ejemplo la llave de la puerta estaba difícil de abrir ya sea x la humedad o por estar cerca del mar. El wifi a veces funcionaba y a veces no La TV solo unos cansled

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay!! Dennis at the front desk was very helpful & accommodating when we asked to extend our stay! We loved the location! It was so convenient to walk to Playa Venao but far enough away to have quiet evenings. We enjoyed the pool too!! The view with the island right across from the beach was amazing! The staff provided excellent service. We look forward to returning soon!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The condo was clean and a perfect size for our family of 4. The kitchen had all of the pots/cutlery you would want, but it would be nice to have a simple salt/pepper. They have separate towels for the pool areas/beach, which was nice, but no wash cloths. They don’t seem to be a thing in Panama in general. The pool near the condos was really nice, but it would be better if they had more stones/paving/grass around it bc there was quite a bit of dirt and it was hard to keep from tracking it into the pool. The restaurant was good and the waitress was very sweet. All in all a great spot away from the noise of the other resorts that have music late, etc.
