Stayed for six nights. Good location (early tram a bit noisy though) and service. Hearty breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had a spectacular view of the castle and river. It was clean, with a lovely soft deep carpet, decent storage for clothing, comfortable bed, and bathroom with good lighting, a magnifying mirror and lovely toiletries. Temperature control kept reverting to a high temperature, not great for sleeping, but that was the only negative.

It is my understanding that this hotel very recently, underwent a renovation. That being said, when the room was booked, we booked a king. Kings are no longer an option in this room post-reno, so we dealt with a queen. This information was not relayed to us and no other options were provided. The room was TINY. A constant scent was sprayed into the room from somewhere and it wasn't exactly subtle. Location and breakfast was good. View was excellent. Bed was comfortable.

The double bed had 2 separate sheets instead of a double duvet.Why?

Perfect op loopafstand van centrum gelegen hotel aan de rivier met uitzicht op kasteel, prima kamers en uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Vriendelijke behulpzame dames achter receptie.

Die Lage ist perfekt, der Bus vom Flughafen hält ums Eck. Die wunderschöne Dachterrasse bietet zu jeder Tageszeit fantastische Aussichten auf das Schloss und den Fluss. Das Frühstücksbuffet läßt keine Wünsche offen und auch das Essen im Restaurant ist außergewöhnlich gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für uns das perfekte Hotel für einen Wochenendtrip.

Air conditioning was terrible

Everything was great from checking in, room and food as always. Recommendations for all white trying to find an attractive place to stay for overnight or more.

Hotel was clean and comfy. The reception staff were always very helpful. We booked our trips to the salt mine and Auschwitz through the hotel. View over the castle and river was amazing. Probably one of the best hotel room views we have ever had. Hotel is only 5 min walk from the old town.

Flott hotell 10 min gange fra gamlebyen. Flott frokostbuffet med mye å velge i også for de med cøliaki. Fikk med frokostpose med masse innhold den dagen vi skulle til Auschwitz og ble hentet på hotellet 05.30. Gode senger. Nydelig takterrasse på restauranten i øverste etasje med utsikt over hele bye.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Kossak! The food was delicious, the rooms spotless, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect, and I felt very welcome. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!
