The room is very small probably the smallest room of the hotel. There's no enough wall sockets. The pillow is unbelievable low. It's the same after being changed. That's why I didn't sleep well. Breakfast is good. Walking distance to main street, cinema and bus stop.

Villa Carlton is a beautifully preserved 1920's building within three or four minutes walk of Zakopane town centre. The public areas of the hotel are very original and retain all the charm of that era. Our room however had been fitted out with cheap white composite wood carpentry which was a rather nasty contrast. The mattress and pillows were of very poor quality. On arrival the room was very clean, but housekeeping was minimal with towels changed once in six nights, and the bath, floors etc going untouched. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Staff were pleasant and helpful on approach. An important thing to note is that this hotel is not suited to anyone with poor mobility. I am aware that the small print states that there is no lift, but even the door in to the hotel involves a staircase. In summary, a beautiful, charming hotel in a good location which provides a lovely breakfast but whose housekeeping could be better.

This hotel may have been considered nice in the 1920s, however it is very outdated. The bed covers were covered in holes, and the bedsheets had blood stains. There is no elevator in the hotel, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Reception staff was polite, however the women working at breakfast had an awful temper. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and we had to make it ourselves.

El lugar está lindo, nos quedamos en una habitación para tres personas (con tres camas) era una cama matrimonial y un sofá MUY incómodo era un sillón individual que se hacía cama, pero la verdad estaba durísimo y no se puede descansar. Las almohadas muy chicas e incomodas. Fuera de eso esta muy limpio y el desayuno muy rico.

Miła obsługa. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dobre śniadanie.

No stairs so its really bad as well the room was not as expected.

Clean and very nice staff. Location is super! My room was just for 1 person so it was really tiny but the bathroom was renovated and I had a nice skylight. The water pressure was great and the water was hot - that was matter the most. The bed was comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Great hotel management, very flexible and polite. Clean rooms and very good breakfast served. I recommend this place to the others.

It is quite an okay stay, value for money.

The location is within distance from the city center. Breakfast was very good.

Koselig hotell med liten stue med sofa, TV og skrivepult. Soverommet var lite, men OK å sove på. Bad med en bra dusj.

läge är bra, men service det beror vem jobbar, visa var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma, men det var också mycket otrevliga. Rum var inte förbered vid ankomst. Utan hiss. Svart att kontakta med reception (telefon upptaget hela tiden) man var tvungen springa från sista våning till personalen och fixa själv. Sängarna var inte bäddad för alla anmälda i rummet. Det var inte tillräcklig med handdukar och badkläder. Saknade på rummet lite möbler att sitta på. Absolut inte anpassad till mer en två vuxna och eventuelt barn.

It was a very nice and cosy pension. The reception desk was very kind (even they made lunch boxes for us on the leaving day). Breakfast was more than expected. The room was a bit small, and the double bed was literally just a two single beds. No refrigerators and tea pots. But in general, it was very nice place to stay in Zakopane. City center is around 5 minutes walk. Excellent mountain views can be expected.

We had a mezzanine room which was great and perfect for kids. It was spacious and had two toilets. Great location next to park. The only problem was the room need curtains and more power outlets to charge your phones, tablets, etc. Also, the staff was not very helpful except for the lady that worked at night who helped me book tickets for the cable car.
