Enjoyed the rooms and facilities

The resort was beautiful, well set out, well maintained and clean. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived even though it was after the official check in time. We did get a welcome lei and drink of lemon juice which was nice but I was surprised the room wasn’t ready and we weren’t the only guests impacted. The staff were friendly but not always as attentive as what I expected. We didn’t order dessert on night 1 because no one came back to check/ask and on day 2 we ordered drinks which I had to go chase up because they didn’t arrive. I thought they may have offered a discount or free drink due to the inconvenience but they didn’t. We were given no instructions or details about the included breakfast so was unsure how it all worked. The room was clean and comfortable with great views to the ocean. They didn’t give us a new floor towel when they serviced the room but the bathroom was big and spacious. The resort catered well for families but for us it was probably a bit too noisy and busy. We liked the resort but preferred the quieter resort we stayed at earlier in the trip.

Loved our stay. Felt very personal and the staff helped our anniversary memorable with in room surprises/treats. Doesn't matter what weather condition, there is also something happening with them having something to offer activity wise. The activity team staff were super approachable and made sure you were enjoying your time. The pools were great in terms of different depths catering for all. The beach was also a highlight, walking distance, clear and can also snorkel and do water activities which are included. Food options were pricey for what they were but did offer a range. The staff were friendly and it was an inviting and relaxing atmosphere.

Highly Recommend - the resort is everything it says it is. The staff are very friendly and the activities staff (Sean, Junior, Tavita, Nana and the team) go out of their way to make your experience at Taumeasina a memorable one! Snorkelling was A , we swam with turtles 😁. The Spa is a must also for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage.

Overhyped and overpriced

This property had the most calming atmosphere, visual brilliance, stimulating acoustics and friendly staff. Our accommodations were perfect for the short stay and access to events and sightseeing was appreciated. Will absolutely tell family and friends this was a great experience and will use this property again in the future. Thank you Taumasina

Really enjoyed our stay

Perfect location! The staff were friendly and attentive. Plenty of gorgeous swimming and food. Plus we explored both islands easily from there. Thanks to everyone.

Was underwhelmed by the hotel. First room we were put in was right at the back of the hotel (102) and the damp smell of mold greeted us as soon as we opened the door. Walls were scuffed, bed sheets and towels were in a questionable state and there was mold all over the roof of the bathroom. Asked to be moved to the 500 block where we had other family staying and it was acceptable compared to the initial room but still, not the greatest. Rooms are in desperate need of a refurbishing. Food was very average - paddles restaurant up the road from the hotel was cheaper and quality was top tier so recommend that for dinner. Also maybe some proper clarification or a physical happy hour menu so customers know the exact time and what drinks are included. A lot of the time it was just the waiter rattling off a whole list including cocktails and then checking again with another waiter who says cocktails are not included? Also if you order from a certain part of the restaurant, your drink was full price and wasn’t included in the happy hour even though it came out of the same bar? We’d have to walk up to the bar to purchase our drink to take back for it to be happy hr $? Entertainment was good and it’s nice they have something on every night. Customer service was good for the most part although there were certain instances where i felt the staff lacked training or a sense of professionalism especially on reception. Overall it was an ok stay however there is so much room for improvement.

Excellent place

From booking our reservation with Taase, to checking in and checking out, the service has been amazing. The staff are super friendly, funny and relatable. The fiafia nights were a blast, able to go for a walk/run around the property. Our vila was fantastic and clean. Absolutely loved our stay here. Thank you. Will be back.

Great for families - fun activities each day for everyone. Hotel staff really helpful.

Excellent customer service

The day was excellent amenities. The food location were excellent. My only two negative comments. Are the rooms need a little TLC such as new mattress and new drapery window cover but rather than that it was great. The other is the phone number when you’re calling from the US even using the country code, you cannot get through at 800 number would be great.

Beautiful venue. Lovely hospitality and an awesome variety of daily activities to take advantage of. Room was well appointed and had a fan and air conditioning. Excellent views. Excellent entertainment in the bar as well. Loved our stay!
