Spacious room , friendly staff and the location is great - it’s just 5 mins by walk from the Waverley train station. The SPA was nice and The breakfast was great too. I was very happy with my stay.

Very courteous and friendly staff. Breakfast included a good variety of food. A couple of mornings when we had to leave before breakfast was served, we were given a bag of food, so we didn’t have to leave hungry. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel.

Location was very good, everything was within walking distances. Also the bed was clean and comfortable, housekeepers did a good job. Bathroom was very spacious. Room was quiet because of the viewtowards backyards.

Beds are extremely comfortable and bathrooms very spacious in the superior double rooms! Lovely recent renovations to lobby and new restaurant area this year. Staff very friendly and accommodating. This was our second visit in two years and we would stay here again- awesome location with everything in walking distance from the hotel.

This hotel has a nice central location. The staff is very helpful and the room as expected. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others traveling in the area.

We got a great deal for booking early. Was easy to walk to everything. Very spacious for an European room.

Beautiful hotel, very helpful staff, we had a suite which was a beautiful room with sofa and bathtub. Great location, walking distance to train station and to tram stop to get to the airport. Would love to stay again, highly recommended!

We were given a room that appeared to have been converted from part of the hotel’s maintenance area. Access was only possible via undecorated stairwells and back corridors, with no elevator To our dismay, the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. The toilet bowl was visibly stained with dried urine, which was both unhygienic and unacceptable.

Good hotel overall in an excellent location but the room was not serviced once and due to the rain some leakage from the ceiling occurred. Would recommend staying in it though.

Anastasia, the front desk manager was outstanding! She helped us tremendously when booking day trips. She gave us incredible advice on delicious restaurants. Highly recommend. We also use the spa service and it was lovely. It is very convenient. Bus stops right outside the door of the hotel. Walkable to the Royal Mile.

Very convenient to restaurants and attractions

All the receptionists are very nice and helpful. Location is amazing, very close to Carlton Hill. They let me borrow an umbrella. Apex never disappoints.

Jag bodde här en vecka med sambo och 16-årig dotter. Fantastiskt rum, rymligt, rent och tyst. Både dusch och badkar i badrummet. Trevlig personal. Vi åt aldrig i restaurangen, så kan inte uttala mig om den - men hotellet ligger väldigt centralt, 10 minuter från spårvagnen till flygplatsen och på gångavstånd till hela Old Town/Gräsmarker och med fantastiska Calton Hill runt hörnet.

Alice ans Reta were wonderful. The staff was tremendous.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful but I felt the AC unit was automatically going higher every time I have to lower it so I can feel cool air .. other than that very much recommend for anyone who want to stay in Scotland...
