Decent hotel in the heart of Glasgow. What more can one say ?

The hotel lobby is elegant, the staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. The room size is moderate and I had a good sleep. Breakfast was self-paid, but the selection felt limited and not entirely satisfying. All in all, it’s still a hotel worth recommending to travelers.

Had to find a room quickly as train cancelled again. Automatic check in could be a little easier. Room fine. Would stay again

Et veldig bra hotell sentralt i Glasgow. Fine rom, moderne bad og alt du trenger for en eller flere netter. Frokosten hadde fortjent litt bedre oppmerksomhet fra kokkene, men inneholdt det som trengtes.

You are encouraged to check in online and then get keys from a self service kiosk. When we arrived at the hotel I proceeded to the kiosk and after several tries determined it was not working. I joined the growing line of customers waiting to check in. Staff know the kiosks do not work but have not labeled them as non functioning and do not bother to tell anyone trying to use them that they don’t work.

We stayed at the Maldron for 4 nights and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was great, the rooms fantastic and the hotel itself is situated in a great spot. Special thanks to Victoria on reception who was very very helpful.

Absolutely loved staying here. Was with 2 friends. Double bed and single bed in room. The bed was amazing and comfortable. Duvet was super cosy. Quick check in and out.

The hotel was excellent, especially the location. My only comment is that it was quite warm in the room and the AC could only be turned down so low. I requested a blanket instead of a down quilt, but they did not have anything available.

Building work near property meant windows were dirty and noise from lots of reversing vehicles in the morning

I think the self service check in is innovative, efficient and an attractive amenity to have; however when we arrived at hotel- staff did not even acknowledge us. No one said hello or asked if we needed help. Very cold, unwelcoming arrival which unfortunately did not leave the best impression.
