Lovely stay! A bit further from beach than thought but good location,

Buen desayuno, bonito rumbo,

Sense of space and green areas around the hotel. Excellent swimming pool. Great breakfast.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Barceló Costa Vasca. Everything was as one could expect from a high-end hotel chain. We did not get to try its restaurants, but we would anticipate that they were just fine. This facility was well situated in a quiet area, yet within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the beach.

Great Hotel, good location and well equipped

The hotel looks like a prison. The rooms are to small. We were every day short on towls. We needed to pay upfront. The swimming pool was too cold.

Service is slow we have asked to unlock the safe box which was not working and no one came we had to wait till next day to call again for someone to come

On a été surclassé car la première chambre ne nous arrangé pas. Bien dans l'ensemble. À 10min à pieds de la plage et 20min des téléphériques du Mont Igueldo. Arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel.

Grosse Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, ein (kaltes) Pool draussen. Coole Sache war der Work Out Outdoor Gym neben dem Pool!

Allt var bra men kan vara bra att veta att barn inte får vistas på en del av poolområdet som är adults only.

Foi uma estadia rápida, pois estávamos indo para Madrid para pegar voo de volta ao Brasil. O hotel era muito por apenas uma noite, mas o atendimento do recepcionista foi terrível, chegando a gritar comigo pelo fato de eu não estar entendendo a função dos dois cartões de estacionamento que me deram. Continuo até hoje sem saber a função deles

When we got access to the room, we quickly established that the stopper in the washhandbasin would not open leaving washwater in place. We let the reception know and it was quickly fixed. Staying two nights on the 6th floor we found other elements of the en-suite bathroom unsatisfactory. Lighting was poor. Shaving was difficult as the mirror was illuminated be a lighting strip on either side. The hand holding the razor got between the face and the light. Water splashed out of the washhandbasin when washing the face and dripped off the surface and onto the hand towels hanging on a rail in front of the basin. Two dispensers of soap and body lotion were located above the area where toiletries were located. Any drips would fall on the toiletries. A makeup mirror was loose in its connection to the wall. The toilet paper holder was very awkwardly placed when reaching for it. The whole roll needed to be moved to be used when required. Hot water took a very long time to get to the tap and out. This is the main reason for poor eco score. The worst feature was an overly complicated shower fixture which had a very narrow hard to find position between cold and too hot. the designer of this en-suite be required to stay in this room for a week along with their partner to experience the facility as a guest and for their partner to remind them forever how bad a job they did of the design. However the Executive who approved the design to be implemented should stay 2weeks.
