We booked the room for 5 nights, but on the 5th night, when we were about to return to the apartment, the key card was out of order!!!! We waited on the street for almost an hour, then met a “neighbour” to open the gate.... then we tried the key card again to open the door of the apartment, again it didn’t work...then we knocked on the door.....luckily there’s a guest there opened the door for us (she was quite hesitate to let us in)... as there’s no staff in reception after 2030. Also, our plan is breakfast included, we told the staff upon check in, that we will be leaving in early morning on the last day, she claimed will prepare and pack us a breakfast on the evening before. On day 4, we did emphasised again we will be leaving early morning after check out. Finally, there was no breakfast prepared.... and we have to search for breakfast @06xx. Really horrible experience.

Really close to Bullard bakery, they have the best pastry in Barcelona! close to lot's of attraction, walk 5-15min and you get to big attraction and main shopping street. even for park quell, the bus station is only 5min away from hotel. Best location ever! Staff speaks good english and very helpful, complimentary fruits everyday.

非常友善且房間乾淨，有一些小地方覺得很為顧客著想。 全天候供應簡單水果，這對出門在外的旅客來說很溫馨。 唯一小小缺點是浴室有點小，且不管怎麼避免都容易濺出水， 門牌很小，但你如果相信google map是不會有問題。

The building is wonderful, there's a lot of ammenities, the staff is helpful and the location is great.

Lovely small hotel in a great location in Barcelona. Attentive staff. Beautiful communal indoor and outdoor rooms to enjoy.

Das Zimmer war sauber und schön, Bad samt Regendusche und Terasse ebenso... Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, gekühlter Automat mit Getränken und Snacks zu sehr fairen Preisen... Eine Klobürste und vielleicht ein, zwei Haken zum Sachen aufhängen könnte man dem Zimmer noch gönnen!

Great location. Nice quiet room with big shower. Friendly staff. Maid service was impeccable. Loved the hospitality lounge for water, coffee and tea.

I can’t rate the breakfast because we either leave very early for the tour or wake up late the following day after the tour. I was really impressed of the building and how nice it is. Thank you to Patricia for communicating with me when I was panicking when our train was delayed. If there is only one thing that you can change is the pillow super soft that hurts our neck. Other than that it’s all perfect. My son love the lounging area and the balcony. The place is all walking distance. Again thank you for the hospitality and highly recommended and if there is a chance that I will go back to Barcelona I will go back to Casa Mathilda

There is loads to like about Casa Mathilda. It’s an artsy, quirky place in a fabulous old building. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent. The coffee machine was a bonus, although it would have been nice if there had also been milk. At this price point it was a little disappointing that some of the fixtures are a bit tired and the room would benefit from a little TLC. But overall, it’s a great little place.

Just upon entering, the staff at the front desk were so friendly. The rooms were big enough for my husband and I. We had gotten the room with the back patio and that was so lovely to wake up to in the morning. I especially loved hearing the children playing .

Had a very comfortable stay. Convenient and safe location, walkable to many sights and restaurants, but still away from the crowds. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel consists of about 15 rooms on the first floor of an apartment building. Very nice lounge and patio facing the inner courtyard. Didn’t try the breakfast.

The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable and close to most things.
