Second time at this property. Great value and location

STAFF ARE REALLY GOOD/HELPFULL & PLEASANT…..Went here with low expectations as needed cheap accom, great location and really nice staff. Property is very tired, bedding old and has a dirty appearance. Was VERY noisy due to being in room between a large Spanish family with exceptionally noisy children who were running between rooms in corridor from 8am. Did think bout making noise at 3am when coming home but not my style. No air con however the lovely reception staff gave me a fan at no charge. No reception staff at night but that did not cause me issues. Free safe in the room. Pity place is really dated as otherwise with a freshen up could be good value for money. As said STAFF lovely!

Die Unterkunft hat Potenzial aber es mangelt etwas an Sauberkeit und es gibt Renovierungsbedarf ( Fugen im Bad mit Schimmel, Duschköpfe sind sehr stark verkalkt und sehen sehr unhygienisch aus etc.) Ein Snackautomat oder eine kleine Bar mit Snacks und Getränken am Pool wären auch vorteilhaft. Sonst sehr ruhig und gut gelegen. Das Rezeptionspersonal war sehr freundlich.

I stayed at Don Gregorio Apartments during the first week of June as a solo traveller and had a fantastic experience. The location is spot on—just a 5-minute walk from both the beach and the Yumbo Centre, which was ideal for getting around without needing transport. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped for self-catering, which gave me the flexibility I like when travelling solo. It was also nice and quiet—perfect for a relaxed break. The pool area was clean and peaceful, with plenty of sun beds available throughout the day. I also really appreciated how comfortable the bed was—something that makes a big difference when you're travelling alone and want to unwind properly. The only thing I would have liked is some air conditioning, as it did get a bit warm at times, but with the windows open and a fan it was manageable. Overall, a great stay in a great location. I’d definitely come back and recommend Don Gregorio to other solo travellers looking for a clean, friendly, and well-located base in Playa del Inglés.

Excellent value for a studio flat with pool access. 5 mins from the Yumbo Centre but surprisingly quiet. Beach is also just down the hill. Very friendly welcome. All that’s missing is AC which may be an issue in hotter months.

Questo è il mio punto di appoggio preferito in questa zona. La struttura si trova in un punto strategico, tutto raggiungibile a piedi, tutto comodo, anche se si ha l’auto da parcheggiare. Nelle vicinanze ci sono le fermate di autobus per le principali zone dell’isola: aeroporto, centri commerciali, Las Palmas. Zona tranquilla e sicura. Le camere sono basic ma funzionali e i prezzi adeguati. La piscina è perfetta. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Il giorno del check (avendo l’autobus per l’aeroporto alle 15.00) mi è stato proposto di lasciare in camera i bagagli e usare la piscina. È stato fantastico poter usufruire di questa gentilezza, forse non sarà sempre possibile, ma per me è stato di grande aiuto.

Well-equipped apartment near Yumbo and the beach. Very convenient with many restaurant, shopping, and grocery options nearby. Easy access to bus stop. There is no AC in the unit but with windows on both sides of the apartment it doesn't seem to be much of an issue as the weather in Maspalomas is very pleasant. Reception is great at communication and helps to arrange airport transfer both to and from the apartment for a very reasonable cost. The only issue issue is with the shower. The water pressure is very weak and the hot water tank is quite small, so you need to take quick short showers or risk running out of hot water.

Gut gelegen in direkter Nähe zum Einkaufszentrum La Sandia. Füßläufig sehr gut zu erreichen sind die Einkaufszentren Cita und Yumbo, sowie Haltestellen der ÖPNV und der Strand. Die Unterkunft selber fand ich gut und für mich der nur zum schlafen und zwischendurch kurz im Zimmer war absolut ausreichend. Vorhanden war ein Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, ein Doppelkochfeld und eine Kaffeemaschine, sowie Geschirr und Besteck. Bett und Badezimmer waren ebenfalls gut. Das Personal war freundlich und konnte bei meinen Anliegen immer helfen, teilweise auch in deutscher Sprache. Englisch hat immer funktioniert. Ich würde wieder dort buchen.

This apartment is close to pretty much everything. Everything you need is in short walking distance. Multiple grocery stores, Yumbo centrum, bus stop to the airport, beach Playa de Ingles, beach boulevard with restaurants, bars, nightlife. Still this location is rather calm and quiet. Anyways I think all areas can have some noises and here you can hear them quite clearly inside the apartment. So if you are not a good sleeper like me, it could be a problem. Regardless i managed to fall a sleep pretty okay with earplugs. The pool area is okay, sunshine lasted from 10am to 17pm so more than enough. The balcony is nice to have in the evenings. There are no actual glass windows, but some sort of blinds you can open and close and these aren’t sound proof but help with ventilation in the evening.

Perfect value for money. Nice and welcoming hosts. Overall I was happy with my stay.
