Second time at this property. Great value and location

STAFF ARE REALLY GOOD/HELPFULL & PLEASANT…..Went here with low expectations as needed cheap accom, great location and really nice staff. Property is very tired, bedding old and has a dirty appearance. Was VERY noisy due to being in room between a large Spanish family with exceptionally noisy children who were running between rooms in corridor from 8am. Did think bout making noise at 3am when coming home but not my style. No air con however the lovely reception staff gave me a fan at no charge. No reception staff at night but that did not cause me issues. Free safe in the room. Pity place is really dated as otherwise with a freshen up could be good value for money. As said STAFF lovely!

I stayed at Don Gregorio Apartments during the first week of June as a solo traveller and had a fantastic experience. The location is spot on—just a 5-minute walk from both the beach and the Yumbo Centre, which was ideal for getting around without needing transport. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and fully equipped for self-catering, which gave me the flexibility I like when travelling solo. It was also nice and quiet—perfect for a relaxed break. The pool area was clean and peaceful, with plenty of sun beds available throughout the day. I also really appreciated how comfortable the bed was—something that makes a big difference when you're travelling alone and want to unwind properly. The only thing I would have liked is some air conditioning, as it did get a bit warm at times, but with the windows open and a fan it was manageable. Overall, a great stay in a great location. I’d definitely come back and recommend Don Gregorio to other solo travellers looking for a clean, friendly, and well-located base in Playa del Inglés.

Excellent value for a studio flat with pool access. 5 mins from the Yumbo Centre but surprisingly quiet. Beach is also just down the hill. Very friendly welcome. All that’s missing is AC which may be an issue in hotter months.

Well-equipped apartment near Yumbo and the beach. Very convenient with many restaurant, shopping, and grocery options nearby. Easy access to bus stop. There is no AC in the unit but with windows on both sides of the apartment it doesn't seem to be much of an issue as the weather in Maspalomas is very pleasant. Reception is great at communication and helps to arrange airport transfer both to and from the apartment for a very reasonable cost. The only issue issue is with the shower. The water pressure is very weak and the hot water tank is quite small, so you need to take quick short showers or risk running out of hot water.

Perfect value for money. Nice and welcoming hosts. Overall I was happy with my stay.

Basic Apartment. Good overall facilities. Just an issue with the sink leaking. Also the reception team were not very nice when i asked for late checkout. As they had no cleaning that day which meant the room wasnt going to be in use they still were persistent i had to check out at 11am and my flight was at 8pm. Other than that great location and pool was nice with loads of deck chairs to sunbathe.

First time in Grand Canaria and HIGHLY recommend this property. Comfortable room. Great Location to all amenities including a grocery store close by. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful. Pool area was cleaned regularly. I will be rebooking for next year!

I have stayed in this hotel before and I really enjoy it everytime. The staff are all super lovely and friendly. There is always a "good morning" or "hello" when entering the building. There are alot more children (Spanish families) than previously, so if you are looking for a quiet stay this possibly isn't the best during peak season. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, though all apartments come with microwave, kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, freezer and crockery. Overall a really enjoyable holiday. Thanks once again.

I liked the staff, and the area, the cleaning was rare but if I asked the staff everything was sorted in the minute

Verdaderamente geniales para el precio que tienen. Muy recomendable. Complejo muy silencioso. Trato humano excelente. Muy cerca de la playa. Los apartamentos están renovados y las camas son muy cómodas. Baños muy adecuados y modernos. Un muy grato descubrimiento. Volveré sin dudarlo!!!

Comfortable enough for the price, perhaps good value for a couple or three, maybe a bit expensive for a solo compared to other hotels, receptionists were friendly and helpful, cleaners changed my bed sheets every other day mopped the floor, WiFi was not good enough just about useful at certain times and locations, swimming pool was sometimes full with hair and dirt from kids playing in it very many hours a day - it was useful to only cool down for few minutes - too small for swimming, sunshine reached the sunbeds only after about 11am up until 5pm at which times there might not always be available sunbeds, however the beach was only in 7-8 minutes walk, several shopping centres within few minutes walk too, kitchenette was essential but pretty enough, fridge and freezer, cutlery, frying pan, plates, etc, hot water any time, TV with quite a few channels in various languages - German / French / Spanish and one in English for news. I think for up to a few days hotel is worth it, for longer stays better or cheaper options can be found probably. If I was to go to same area again I may potentially book this hotel only because I know what to expect, but if I have time to search I believe I can possibly find a better one eventually.

nice place on a small budget

We had high hopes for this apart-hotel, with its 9+ score and reasonable photos. Unfortunately this property really fails in so many ways. A few of the issues we had... - Free on-site parking IS NOT available, told for staff only. - Elevator that's always breaking down and partner got stuck in late at night. - Light above bed broken. - Shower fitting spray water in every direction and leaks. - Only a coffee maker, no kettle. Coffee maker doesn't warm water very well and needed replacing. - Towels that look/feel as if they should of been replaced about 2 decades ago. If I had paid a budget price for the stay I would of been happy, but with much better places available for the same I felt had.

I nice studio apartment with all you require, quiet pool area with a nice relaxing atmosphere, close to all amenities.
