What a great gem we found!! A very nice boutique chic hotel. The decor was amazing and fit will with the Spanish history. Definitely not just a static hotel room. Our view from our terrace was amazing. You could open your door and hear the church bells and the bustle of the shops below Very clean and the staff was very attentive. I would 100% recommend

Wonderful hotel! The facility was very nice and the room was clean. The shower did have a problem with leaking onto the floor and the toilet area was a little cramped when you close the door

Awesome stay at Hotel España! In a very walkable area, comfortable deluxe room with balcony. Staff friendly and helpful. Very close to Boqueria Market which was amazing, and we walked to each day of our stay. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is beutiful. We were impress by all the details in decoration. It is romantic, it is very stylish. We also love the good service and location is perfect! very very close to Las Ramblas and to a metro station.

The staff was great and the building is very cool, but the room was not very functional. There was literally no place to put your clothes other than 10 hangers right above the mini fridge. No table, not one drawer anywhere. There was no bathroom door either so we had to listen to one another’s toilet time. And, we were charged an extra $42 (on top of $50 city tax) that we don’t know what it was for and the hotel has not responded to two emails. The location was great, but there are other choices and unless they refund our $42 we won’t be back.

Helpful and welcoming staff at the reception. The hotel is still in renovation, so not all amenities were available. Room was nice.

The hotel was practically a museum! The entrance, the fireplace, the staircase, the view looking down the middle of staircase, the wallpaper, front desk service, dining room service & the view from my window were all very beautiful and memorable!

Above and beyond! The hotel is undergoing renovations but you’d never know. The service is immaculate, there’s no obvious thing missing, everything we could have wanted was there and more. The bartenders were creative, the front desk always helpful and the doorman was there around the clock. We felt so spoiled! The little touches like beautiful wallpaper and fringe lampshades added to the original charm of the buildings ceilings, railing and protected mosaic floors around the stairwell. Would gladly recommend to anyone - and we can’t wait to come back ourselves! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at recently

L’hôtel est actuellement en rénovation mais la staff a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour confortable agréable et n’avons pas subi de désagrément. Nous trouvons cet hôtel très bien placé pour visiter la ville.

Clean room, good rooms, nice 1920’s vibe.

Great room, helpful staff, could only wish the restaurant was open and the pool available but it was January!
