We stayed at the Nobu in Barcelona for three nights and enjoyed it tremendously. The rooms were very clean, well appointed and comfortable, with great staff and a great concierge service. The restaurants were very good, with great service, and the view from the top floor is wonderful. Transportation to the old quarter and Sagrada Familia is easy and there are many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel.

So, it really wasn't a great experience. I was going to mention all of our issues upon checking out, but wasn't even asked how our stay was.
1. We were told that we paid for a view room ....and put on the 3rd floor overlooking a city street and a busy/noisy construction area.
2. We were told at check in that if we wished to dine in the restaurant we would have to make a reservation. However, we could always dine in the hotel bar with no reservation. We chose the latter. However, when we went down for dinner we were told that the bar area was blocked off for a private event (we were not told this when checking in). it was 8pm and we didn't want to go out as we had a busy travel day the next day. Unfortunately we couldn't eat in the restaurant, as we didn't make a reservation. So we ordered room service. While this was not what we wanted we have to say the food was excellent.
3. from 5-7pm we heard constant music and pounding. We were told by the hotel that there was a fitness class below us, on the 2nd floor. It was so loud in our room that we could hear everything.
4. Due to the loud music we decided to put the TV on to block it out. Unfortunately the TV was not working as it "lost connection to the server". On the home screen it said. "Welcome Mr. Han Li (not us, another guest who probably didn't want someone else to see his name, privacy laws, etc.). It took 1 hour to resolve the issue with IT having to come to our room.
5. Shower flooded, almost immediately when turned on.

We stayed at the Nobu in Barcelona for three nights and enjoyed it tremendously. The rooms were very clean, well appointed and comfortable, with great staff and a great concierge service. The restaurants were very good, with great service, and the view from the top floor is wonderful. Transportation to the old quarter and Sagrada Familia is easy and there are many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel.
