索尔特内里费岛酒店

Hotel is becoming fairly run down. Location is around some very loud bars, making it almost impossible to sleep at night due to sound until 0400. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff was all very nice and helpful.

The night club next door stopped the music at 7:00 am , even with earplugs and balcony door shut, it was unbearable. Plus the air con was not working, no button on the temperature pannel. I stayed only one night and I requested a quiet room when I checked in and the staff gave me a room facing the night clubs district. I stayed one week in total in Tenerife and I did a total of 5 hotels , but this one as the poor est quality in term of breakfast . Avoid this hôtel

Upeat merinäköalat huoneessamme 11 kerroksesta. Ainoa huono puoli oli läheisen diskon hirvittävän kova teknomusiikkijumputus läpi yön lähes aamuun saakka, noin viiteen. Eli hyvät korvatulpat tarpeen, jotta voi nukkua. Aiemmin olemme olleet hotellin uima-altaan puolella sinne ei musiikkki ole kuulunut. Muuten hotellilla hyvä sijainti keskeisellä paikalla. Ruokatarjoilu monipuolinen ja siivous hyvä.

Food quality was not good,

The room could do with refurbishment. No plug sockets near the bed. There was a single available socket under the TV, which is pretty inconvenient if you’re a couple sharing. There were far fewer sunbeds than there were people staying at the hotel, so unless you queued up in the morning before the pool area opened, you had zero chance of getting a sunbed. There was no vanity kit in the bathroom, which, for a supposedly four-star hotel, is disappointing. The shower gel pump dispenses a tiny amount each time, requiring you to pump it several times to get any reasonable amount to use. The gel itself was thin and didn’t lather at all sufficiently. There was a reasonable breakfast selection, although the quality of the pastries was not great; the coffee was terrible. Cereals were not great, although the yoghurt was decent. I didn’t eat dinner here and would not choose to based on the breakfast quality. The hotel overlooks the sea, and all rooms have a balcony. The noise from the strip overlooking the hotel caused sleep disturbance, so if you’re a light sleeper, I would suggest a different hotel. In summary: I would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend it. It is not a four-star hotel in my view.

There was no working aicondition, and despite repeated attempts to have it fixed a repairman never came. We ended up checking in on a another hotel

Anbefales ikke om man skal på kjæreste tur, for å lappe av å kose seg. Hadde ikke sjekket ut hvor dette hotellet var plassert, midt i PARTY gaten, full fart fra morgen til langt ut på morgen timene. Fikk ikke sove pga all støy fra gatene og veldig lytt fra andre rom rundtom. Kommer nok ikke til å booke rom her igjen, dette er hotell for ungdommer som liker å feste døgnetrundt.

our fourth visit here and it has everything we need

As a family, we received a nice warm and friendly welcome upon our arrival. We enjoyed the hotel's close location to the beach and other local amenities. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment provided, I participated in the daily outdoor well-being classes and we both enjoyed the variety of options available for our daily breakfast. Our stunning sea view room was above the entertainment stage and local night clubs but we didn't mind. The house keeping team were great, very polite and kept our rooms clean and tidy - making beds, changing towels, sweeping and mopping floors daily. However, the overall decor of our room was tired. We found the beds uncomfortable and discovered cockroaches in our room on three separate days. Admittedly we did not report this because for one, we know the critters are naturally present in hot climates (we saw them outside all over the over island); Two, we deterred more turning up by leaving the bathroom and hall lights on at night and keeping the balcony door closed. We believe they originated from the bathroom's old fashioned, poorly designed, gappy and very dusty perforated suspended ceiling. The hallway had a bare-thin, heavily soiled and odorous carpet that would be better served being replaced by tiles. Only made worse when a neighbour had vomited on it one evening. Should the decor be improved to meet the overall good level of customer service we received, we would definitely consider Sol Tenerife again when in Tenerife.
