Sidath was our waiter and made our stay so special - he was wonderful. X Jeethm- looked after our every need by the pool . He was very attentive and pool was sparkling clean . Highly recommend this place to stay in Kandy- all staff were amazing . Thank you for looking after us so well .

It was well located and a beautiful hotel in the public areas but my room was very plain and problems as noted and more expensive than an amazing hotel the next two nights. Also no menu on website so I just bought groceries and ate in my room

When we arrived the hotel was closed. We were given no notice. We were concerned as we had already paid for the hotel. A security guard directed us their sister hotel who honoured our booking which was great but not the experience we expected. I would say the pictures must have also been misleading given it was closed for renovation. The sister hotel was in a great location but very old and rooms not great. Would have preferred to be told and have booked elsewhere.

We had a lovely time at Suisse hotel and the staff are fabulous and very welcoming. It was a memorable stay

I understand this is a very old hotel but need to keep up to the standards. When i checked in, there was only one towel in the bathroom and few hours later i managed to get two additional towles. The food was good.

The hotel is perfect, the most quiet hotel in Kandy, with a ten minute walk to the city centre. Food excellent, staff lovely We stay here every year

Booked on Wotif.com. Catered for my family. FREE welcoming drink was nice in the hot weather. Waited for our extra bed to be put in the room as they mustn't have received my message, but I'd only sent it about an hour prior to our arrival. Bags were carried to our spacious, clean room with a balcony & city view. Bathroom was spacious, clean, had enough good quality towels for all of us with good hot running water for all of us. My only issue was upon checkout they handed me a bill for room payment even though I'd paid online with wotif.com like i have in 50 countries. After we showed them our booking in conjunction with bank withdrawal & they made a few phone calls to the company it was sorted. Well they said they'd call if any issues. We did have our driver (we've had for 5days) with us communicating so I'm sure that helped.

Bra läge i utkanten av Kandy. Gammalt kolonialhotell med god mat och bra service. Fina omgivningar med berg och vatten.

Old colonial building, badly in need of maintenance. Breakfast is excellent. Excellent place for history buffs

We just finished a two week holiday in Sri Lanka and this was one of our least favorite hotels. Breakfast was not good - the rooms and bathrooms are very dated and could use an upgrade. Staff are friendly.

It’s a beautiful colonial building and it’s well situated, it requires some major renovation in the way the Galle Gace hotel has been renovated to make it more appealing

Lovely historic hotel. Nice pool area. The breakfast rom was lovely and they served a very good breakfast. The internet was really slow. We had a lovely lake view from our room.

Poor management skills and lack of knowledge and skill of staff accounted for poor service levels. The choices and service levels at meal times (buffets) , overall maintenance of the property and cleanliness were poor .
