非常棒的體驗，特別訂了從房間能看到馬特洪峰的房型，雖然被安排在低樓層，但一樣可以飽覽風光。而且戶外還有一大片陽台，可以坐在外面的椅子上靜靜沉浸在陽光中欣賞馬特洪峰。十分浪漫！快到策馬特站時先打給飯店，他們就可以派車子免費接送。飯店人員也非常細心，帶領我們看房間、一一解說，也總是帶著笑容，十分親切。早餐雖然選擇不多，但是讓人感到非常溫馨。距離欣賞馬特洪峰最佳的觀景橋也非常近，如果願意早起的人，不需要在寒風中走太久就可以抵達。或是在房間裡一樣可以欣賞到美麗的黃金日照。

I have been living in many big brand hotels during my travel years. But this little family run hotel is definitely one of the best, the owner, Daniela was very nice; as I didn’t get a phone, she kept on replying my emails in order to arrange a pick up service for us. The mostly surprise was she arranged us a room with a balcony that can see the Matterhorn view. The room was cosy, clean and the bed is super comfortable. Daniela advised us to come for late breakfast next morning to avoid meeting a big group, also her home cooking breakfast was delicious. Lastly, she gave us a box of chocolate, two bottles of water for our supplies during our next train journey. Thank you so much for her that we love Zermatt even better.

Gorgeous property, immaculate. Wonderful service. They went above and beyond to help us. The breakfast options were too numerous to mention, everything that we tried was amazing. Can't recommend this lovely hotel enough. Go!!

We ere very pleasant with the family oriented owners. We checked in early without having any questions instead, they upgraded our room to the suites. That was a nice surprise. All the equipment had been new and clean. They were above expectations and very nice and kind to us with the hospitality. We would like to come back soon!

The Swiss Chalet coverted hotel had all the amenities giving us a comfortable stay. The location and ambience was good giving us peace and tranquility. It was walkable to the Cable car station that takes us to Matterhorn glacier paradise. They provides us with a taxi back to the station. We were not aware and paid for the taxi to go the hotel on arrival. Taxi's are expensive.

Loved our stay at this cute property! Breakfast was delicious and was my favorite during my whole trip throughout Switzerland! Make sure to take advantage of the free shuttle to and from train station

Highly recommend!!! The staff is amazing. Went out of their way to make you feel like family. The room was large, clean had all that you would want in a room. The refrigerator had drinks for free, chocolate in the room. A wonderful experience for sure!!!

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very kind and hospitable. Rooms and common area, including outside garden, were lovely. Breakfast excellent too! Highly recommend!

Great location away from the hustle of main street ut still 10 min walk from the train station. The breakfast is delicious. The staff goes above and beyond.

The Hotel is perfectly located! We really appreciated the train station shuttle feature. The breakfast was good and the room was excellent. For the most part the staff is very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend and would consider booking this hotel again. The one thing I will say is that I was amazed at the poor, grumpy attitude of some of the breakfast attendants when guests are genuinely being friendly, considerate and kind. Not every inadvertent "mis-step/faux pas" is done intentionally or with malice to offend or cause issues or inconvenience. Grumpy employees can ruin a holiday unnecessarily.

Really lovely hotel . Everyone working there was so kind and helpful. Great location for exploring Zermatt . Comfortable bed and room with a beautiful balcony / the weather was gorgeous and they even brought me a sun bed . Lovely l’Occitane toiletries plus a free bar of Lindt chocolate in our room which was a real surprise treat . Excellent free shuttle to and from Zermatt train station . Delicious breakfast with a good choice . Would love to return to this hotel . Thanks for a super stay

Stayed at Hotel Chesa Valese for 5 nights recently and overall had a very good experience. There was a mix-up with the pickup time at first, but the staff were great and made up for it, so no complaints there. We ended up with what seemed like a bigger, more spacious room with loads of storage, and even a partial view of the Matterhorn tip, which was a nice surprise. Only issue in the room was with the plug sockets. All of them were Swiss three-pin. I brought standard EU two-pin plugs which usually work fine (they worked on the train), but for some reason they didn’t fit here. Reception gave us two adapters straight away, which was really helpful. Breakfast officially starts at 7:30am, which felt a bit late, but they let us eat at 7am one morning when we had to leave early. That flexibility was appreciated. The spa and sauna were excellent and definitely one of the highlights. The staff were always very helpful throughout our stay, which really made a difference. Only real downside was the WiFi. It wouldn’t work with a VPN, which was frustrating since I prefer not to use open networks. Luckily I had a data SIM so I managed, but it’s something to be aware of.
