Well the location is good and reception is good. Breakfast at the normal level but they didn’t provide me clean towel at my second night. I’ve asked it and housekeeping didn’t take away the wet towel at my sink. The rest is fine.

The hotel is very “tired” and desperately needs renovation! Nobody warned me about the additional cost for the small dog we had at the check-in. The room we had (959) was so dirty, that I have doubts it was ever cleaned (especially under the additional bed - sofa). The sink was leaking, and, most important, it was EXTREMELY cold all the time. Just really cold! The towels in the bathroom were always wet - don’t know why. But most important - I don’t know, if this is normal for Swiss hotels or for Hotel Royal in particular - but during the whole stay of ours there was a strong odor of cannabis on our floor (5). I mean, it this for the money I pay? 4 stars, really? Would never stay here again.

Hotel ist gut und ein netter Service. Allerdings was gar nicht geht sind die gym Öffnungszeiten. Geht erst um 7.30 los und da bin ich leider schon im Büro. Nächstes Mal ein anderes Hotel

Great staff especially the doorman. Took time to even walk my husband to the car rental shop about 100 meters down the road when he asked the location. Kitchen is complete and convenient, drawback was just issue with our dishwasher during our stay

La chambre était bien. On entendait légèrement le bruit du train, mais cela restait raisonnable. Il manquait simplement deux peignoirs et une paire de chaussons. Le personnel était très agréable, et la chambre était refaite chaque matin. Le personnel de l’hôtel était très professionnel et poli, avec un grand sens du service. La possibilité de choisir entre deux formules de petit-déjeuner était une très bonne option. Un bon séjour dans l’ensemble, avec un personnel agréable et serviable.

Very clean room. Excellent service.

La chambre était très agréable. Récemment rénovée. Salle de bain simple mais fonctionnelle. Très bonne expérience et à quelques minutes à pied de la gare.
