Ban's Diving Resort

The bed is comfortable, and the swimming pool is sufficient. The view from the room is also beautiful, but it comes at a price. If you don’t want to walk back to your room, you have to take the hotel’s golf cart. If the service quality is also poor, it feels even less worthwhile. If you’re looking to stay closer to the beach, this hotel is not recommended. The room rates are not cheap, and the service is not up to standard.

pool Villa2 房很大，床也很舒適，不過有點舊，熱水供應不太穩定，要開最大才能保持水溫。泳池很棒， 沒有太多人用的關係水也很乾淨。房間景色很美， 可以俯瞰整個sairee beach的景色。 不過由於住在山頂的關係每次走上去都有點吃力，免費接送的哥爾夫球車到八點便沒有了， 回去得晚的話便需要自行步行上山。 而且回房間的樓梯斜度大約有45度，需要小心行走， 尤其在雨後 ，如果有老人家的話不適合住在這裏 。下山還好，上山的路的確有一點陡峭，當是吃完飯做做運動倒是不錯的。 如果來這裏潛水的話他的配套是很好的， 有各樣的課程選擇， 要參與fun dive的話也很方便， 到樓下報個名就行了， 潛完又可以直接回房間。 附近有很多餐廳便利店吃和買都很方便呢， 7-11旁那間餐廳尤其好吃而且很便宜，推薦豬腳飯。 走遠一點前往Sairee beach的中心也只需要十分鐘，十分便利。

潜水工厂。都是过去上潜水课程的。带着爸妈一起去，想顺便fun dive。结果根本没人搭理你。（估计fun dive不赚钱，人家教课都来不及）最后给爸妈报了一个浮潜和逛南园岛的半日游。和老公去SSI体验了一下freediving。吃个早餐要翻山越岭。一身汗。订的是比较好的房间，但是采光不好，很阴暗。第二天下午洗澡一半的时候，竟然整层停电。打了无数电话催促，磨磨唧唧半天才弄好。都晚上了。顺便提一下：如果学OW、AOW这些课程还是找其他家吧。这家一个教练恨不得带10个学生。我和老公之前都是1对2这样学的。这种流水线的潜水员~~~好不好只有自己知道！

Beautiful resort, excellent breakfast, great accommodations in a deluxe room. The major drawback is that rooms close to the beach suffer from noise from the beach including loud music and crowds talking loudly until 2:30 am every night. Try to book a room away from the beach. There is a steep hill but the resort will drive you up and down the hill in their golf carts. The resort is truly beautiful with crystal clear pools and is nicely located in that it is close to great restaurants. The resort restaurant is right on the beach and sunsets are spectacular every evening.

Die Unterkunft ansich ist super schön und auch recht zentral gelegen. Unser Zimmer, war zwar etwas abseits, den Berg hinauf aber man hatte einen gratis Shuttle in Form eines Golfcarts, dass man jederzeit rufen konnte.

El alojamiento no se parece nada a las fotos. Cogimos una habitación para tres personas , que había que te tenían que subir para poder acceder a ella en un carrito. Tuvimos unas vecinas que gritaban toda la noche y se escuchaba perfectamente desde la habitación. El desayuno muy regular con comida poco apetecible. Personal bastante antipático. El día de salida nos ofrecieron un transporte gratuito para el puerto , y muy mal organizado. La gente muy nerviosa , porque al final tienes que llegar en tu horario, tienen que ir y venir varias veces, y bastante desagradables. La escuela de buceo igual, muy antipáticos. La habitaciones que están en la parte de abajo tienen mucho ruido con música en directo hasta tarde. Nada recomendable .

I liked it, the room was very nice and comfortable, and the garden & grounds were nice. I paid a LOT - $400/n for the room though and I don’t think it was worth it. Deluxe garden rooms are right next to a night club with drum & bass blaring until 2am - so keep that in mind. Next time I think I’ll stay in Ban’s hotel which has a very nice pool away from nightclub. Breakfast is crazy between 9-10, go early if you want to relax.

We spent six nights and were happy with the hotel and location. We went on several excursions to nearby beaches. Freedom Beach is beautiful. Aow Leuk is wonderful for snorkelling. The hotel’s best pool is the one highest up, furthest from the main road (infinity pool/bar). A golf cart service is available and free if you don’t want to walk uphill. On Sundays and Mondays, you risk that all ATMs are out of cash — withdrawing on Friday (preferably) or Saturday is recommended. The hotel’s garden was a pleasant surprise.

We love Ban's. We always stay here when on Tao. Great rooms, pools, staff and service

Breakfast every morning was a disaster.

Ett fint & fräscht hotell med bra läge. Dock backigt & långt till vissa rum. Kolla upp det om du har problem med att gå, dock kan man få skjuts av golfbil. Mycket lyhört hotell & vi hade gäng som festade till 04 på morgonen, man kunde heller inte

The pools are amazing. Large upper pool for swimming laps. Views and the convenience was great for first few days in Koh Tao. The Factory restaurant next door great for healthy and some gluten free food.

You can get a free transfer to and from the pier which is super helpful. The hotel is massive and the restaurant breakfast/ food was really nice. It is in a great Location and there is lots to do round it. The hotel restaurant also has entertainment in the evening and the bands were really great. The views are in incredible from the pool near the gym. No pressure if you don’t want to do the diving.

Jeg hadde noen netter her i april 25. Resortet er som en egen landsby, helt enormt stort! Jeg koste meg veldig. Det var egne små biler som kjørte deg til og fra rommet. Jeg for min del bodde nok litt for langt unna stranden og folkelivet, men det hadde sin sjarm det også. Jeg hadde bilene like utenfor rommet mitt, praktisk. Jeg vil absolutt anbefale dette resortet.

I have never felt more unsafe in a hotel. We booked this hotel for 1 night(thank god) and when we arrived they told us we have booked a jungle resort room which is furthest away from the beach which was fine as they ran a shuttle. We then got in the shuttle which took us over 1km away from the beach and all the facilities in the jungle above all the workers houses. We constantly smelt cooking etc. and there was bags of rubbish just on the paths all over the resort. The bit behind the entrance to our room also had loads of piles of rubbish everywhere. The room was extremely dated and wasn't clean, the shower had marks all over it and their was a drying rack box that was all dirty with random plates and cutlery that has been washed and forgotten to put away. We messaged Expedia to complain about the dirt of the resort and the 1km distance to the beach that we weren't informed of when booking and they phoned the hotel to ask them to sort it. A women arrived at our door banging it down shouting "it's me". When we opened the door she was angry and shouted "what's the problem" we explained about the dirt etc, and she rolled her eyes and said well if you want near the beach then you can go to reception and pay 60-80£ to upgrade. Then started shouting at us saying what do you want us to do? We said it's fine then as it's only 1 night and we are not willing to pay. After this about 20 minutes we heard more banging on our door and shouting and opened it and it was 3 young children.

Fantastisk sted hvis du vil lære at dykke og tage et PADI certifikat. Baan har uddannet 300.000 Padi dykkere igennem årene, så de har styr på det. Vi boede oppe af bjerget i Hill view og blevet kørt frem og tilbage i golfvogne når vi havde behov for det - fin service. Deres morgenmads, middag og bar restaurant har den flotteste udsigt over stranden og solnedgang om aftenen. Til Morgenmaden kan du selv bestille forskellige former for æg og pandekager. Live musik og fest hverdag som heldigvis ikke generer på værelserne. De hentede os da vi ankom på havnen og de afleverede os da vi skulle videre. Kan anbefales og så er solnedgangen imponerende

Well the grounds are really exceptional. What a view from our hilltop room! Watch out for the mosquitoes. Lots of food options. We had some good dives, especially Sail Rock. I recommend a scooter rental if you stay up on the hill. We had a hard time Rea hing the operator and the folf art shuttle at times

Stor resort med mange muligheter. Lange avstander, så det var fint med golfbiler. Kakerlakker på rommet var en nedtur.
