We loved this resort. The breakfast was amazing. The gym equipment was in great condition. We were on the 3rd floor with sea view room and it did not disappoint. Pool area and beach were both really nice.

A nice boutique resort with a lovely beach, great friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast buffet. - Rooms could do with a facelift and the shower seemed to have a cold and a scold setting 😔

The staff provided superior customer service and extremely helpful to meet needs. The resort is nice but dated. Very comfortable beds and great bed linens and nice pillows. Excellent buffet breakfast. Menu for lunch and dinner was satisfactory. Hotel is in a remote area and while a hotel shuttle is provided the times are not optimal.

Loved everything from check-in to check-out! Receptionist Lek was super welcoming, and also everyone in bar/pool area

Amazing perfect hotel with extremely nice staff

Great beach and swimming area. One of the best beach resorts in the world. Can walk up to the waste in the water for hundreds of meters in all directions. Free kayaks. Breakfast was great. The food at the bar was exceptional, with the sea bass dish out of this world. Rooms are spacious and have an outdoor bathtub. The only issue with the room is that it is a bit of a walk to the beach. Otherwise an amazing resort with great staff, beach, and food.

The service at Renaissance was nothing short of exceptional. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. They took every step to make our holiday extra special. The food on site was excellent. I am already making plans to go back to Thailand JUST to revisit Renaissance. The buildings and facilities are a little older- but that didn't bother me as everything was still neat and tidy. I understand there are plans to upgrade in the near future. Thank you to everyone at Renaissance!

Amazing property with AMAZING staff!

Staying in hotel very comfortable. Good service, great breakfast, nice people. The only disadvantage was very low sea that you could not swim but beach was beautiful. Hotel have shuttle bus to swimming beach in Lamai.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is okay but is starting to show its age. The view out to the pacific is fantastic, the spa was great but the food is limited and the chef focuses on presentation rather than taste. The pools were clean and not crowded.

We last visited the Renaissance in 2020 and this visit surpassed all our expectations. To be met on arrival by familiar faces (Chin, thank you for making our visit so special) and as everyone mentions, all of the staff are so amazing, helpful and brilliant. We just wanted to relax and enjoy the great location, the beautifully maintained gardens, and the pool/beach area. Across the hotel, it is so easy to fall into the relaxed vibe, ably helped by the amazing Zee and the pool bar team, and of course Gift and Beam covering breakfast. A special mention has to go to the 4pm cocktails on the beach - there is no better way of starting the evening in such beautiful surroundings! We split our stay between the deluxe rooms and a beachfront villa, and whilst the deluxe rooms are really good, the view from the sea front villa was simply breathtaking. Thank you team Renaissance for giving us a perfect holiday!

It was our first time in Samui and the Renaissance property, which we chose based on overall ratings and the location with access to a private lagoon-type beach. Great overall experience with friendly staff and delicious restaurant choices. Special shoutout to the front office manager, Budsarin (BUD) Boonwan! We will definitely return for more stays in the future. Thank you, Marriott, for sharing this hidden gem with us all!

Stunning hotel! Gorgeous location. Staff are amazing. Our room was one of the nicest on our entire trip. Had our own small pool overlooking the ocean. Wow!! Recommend the beach BBQ and fire show. Incredible.

We stayed 6 nights at the Renaissance Koh Samui for our honeymoon and we highly recommend it! Our villa was very comfortable, the amenities were great, and the environment was very beautiful. We also enjoyed the beachside pool, the massages we got at the spa, and all the food we ate at their restaurants. We booked a number of experiences outside of the hotel (not through the hotel), specifically a cruise around Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park, a Thai cooking class, and a visit to an elephant sanctuary, and all of them were able to pick us up directly from the hotel.

Hotel made an error in our reservation which was very frustrating and disappointing as it was made 8 months before stay and reconfirmed weeks before the stay. We were only told about the error when we were checking in at night which made alternative options very difficult. Other than that, hotel had great staff hospitality and friendliness.

OMGGGG this hotel is spectacular!! We stayed over NYE and from the moment we got there, it was luxurious! From service to accommodation to food, by far the best hotel in the islands! We had a private villa with a private pool in the garden section (highly recommend for privacy) and it felt like a movie! From the giant room and beautiful pool and bes and shower...so many amazing amenities! The property is stunning and the beach is so great! The food is unbelievable!! The morning buffet is epic! The hotel staff, to management to attendants and all so lovely! Would stay here in a heartbeat!
