1.They prepared very very poor breakfast for guests , even basic coffee is cold , I could not believe it is a 5-stars hotel, and it charged usd 150/per night.It is not worthy at all. 2.The staff in the reception is very cool, proud attitude and no smile . That made us feel that we are not welcome.

Amazing hotel, excellent decor, large rooms and bathrooms, comfortable bed. Polite staff, ample parking spaces inside the hotel ground. Super close to everything.

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel idéalement situé à 2 pas de la grande mosquée et de la médina , idéal pour visiter Kairouan. Personnel accueillant et disponible . Entrée et parking pratique et sécurisés . Chambre spacieuse , propre avec petit balcon fermé et vue sur la piscine . Piscine très bien entretenue , calme idéale pour se rafraichir après les visites. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié avec aussi bien du salé , du sucré et du traditionnel tunisien .

J'ai réservé le restaurant pour l'anniversaire de ma femme et j'ai vraiment été déçu du service proposé.

Un très bon accueil. Nous avons très bien déjeuner servis par Monsieur Ftiti Fethi qui nous a indiqué les endroits à visiter sa contribution était très précieuse merci. Hôtel magnifique avec une très belle piscine et une situation près de tout les endroits a visiter a pieds.

J'ai bien aimé le lieu, l'extérieur est très impressionnant. L'accueil était cependant un peu froid. Mais la piscine est très belle. Je n'ai pas aimé le fait de ne pas nous avoir prévenu de l'avènement d'un mariage le 2e jour de notre séjour. La piscine n'était pas accessible alors que nous étions rentrées de notre journée avec l'intention d'en profiter. À la réception, on m a répondu qu'on ne pouvait pas se baigner en raison de la préparation du mariage et que n'avions qu'à nous baigner le lendemain. Inacceptable. La moindre des choses aurait été de nous prévenir par respect pour le client.

Wonderful location with good ambience. Pool was great on a hot day after driving. Room AC did not work and had to get a maintenance person to fix. Dinner was very mediocre, but breakfast was good. We had a lot of ants in our room which was an annoyance.

Certamente un hotel storico di impatto caratteristico, camera e bagno grandi; colazione perfetta; personale cordiale. Piscina super. Location super. Ma per un 5star certe cose non devono accadere : 1- 16 motociclette hanno il permesso di parcheggiare nel perimetro della fontana di ingresso quando c’è lo spazio limitrofo per farlo. 2- in camera le lenzuola, il piumino e l’imbottitura dei cuscini sono scadenti. Il terrazzino ha il pavimento che perde sabbia e ghiaia che viene portato inevitabilmente in camera. Mancano i caratteristici balconi in legno ombreggianti alla nostra camera. 3- Ma la cosa peggiore è il pavimento lastricato con i tavolini e sedie attorno alla piscina : gli uccelli fanno gli escrementi (guano) che non viene pulito dagli addetti anche se fatto notare; anche qualche tavolino e sedie è sempre lasciato sporco. Squallidi sono alcuni ombrelloni che non si aprono completamente. QUESTO PER UN 5STAR NON È AMMESSO! COSA CONTROLLA IL DIRETTORE???

Great location - walking from the mosque & medina. Very dated property with old dark rooms with bad air conditioning, broken parts and musty rooms

As there were not any comparable option in Kairouan, the Kasbah met our needs. The property was beautiful, clean, safe, and the state were truly kind and professional. The hotel is somewhat centrally located that you can walk to the medina, the grand mosque, the tomb of Sahbee. However, dining options you needed to walk further. There’s nice dining, however, it’s mostly local restaurants that are typically for takeaway. Thought the hotel mentions air conditioning in the details of the amenities, make sure you ask for it in advance and make sure upon arrival they provide you with a room that has air conditioning that you can control. In the off season the main air conditioning is off, only a fan is blowing through the HVAC. We visited in the middle of May, over 40 degrees celcius and air conditioning was important to have. The breakfast was included which was pretty much your typical morning cute buffet. They had an espresso machine, though I prefer freshly brewed coffee. The restaurant was extremely warm which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the breakfast, but we managed. We have been choosing small properties for our travels because the service is much more catered. Though we enjoyed meeting all the staff who were always there when we looked for them Moheeb and Sadek… everyone else did their job well. But we didn’t sense anyone was going above and beyond. It’s fine as it’s not a complaint. It just helps when it comes to tipping to want that unique experience with staff.

Historic building beautifully renovated about 20 years ago. Staff is very courteous. There are some signs of ‘aging’ but it can be forgiven. The dining room often smells of fried food. The smaller restaurant is better. Internet is limited, but free. Very good parking.

This place blew my mind! Staying in the Casbah was like stepping into a history book, but with a pool and bar. The rooms were comfortable, the location great and the included breakfast buffet a great way to start the day. Pretty good value too. My one complaint was, I felt, the staff didn’t go out of their way to help organize some day trips surrounding Kairouan that I was looking forward to. Other than that, I really enjoyed my time here!

Séjour très agréable, l’hôtel est beau et les prestations de qualité. Possibilité de réserver un massage pour le jour même. Petit déjeuner très bien. Le seul bémol commun malheureusement a beaucoup d’hôtels en Tunisie. Le salon d’accueil et le bar sont fumeurs.
