The property itself did not feel unsafe, however, the area around the hotel for walking purposes coming home from Manhattan later at night was a questionable walk back to the property. I did not like that there was not an additional lock to our room outside of that on the door handle. There was a Dunkin Donuts about 5-10mn walk from the property, and a few other fast food spots a lil further but nothing that we noticed being open earlier aside from Dunkin Donuts, or late as everthing was closed upon our return. The property had minimal amenities (small fridge) no microwave coffee pot, given this it would be a nice small amenity if there was the addition of even a vending machine for a guest who needed a drink of water. While i can not say I would never stay here again, it wouldn't be my first choice.
I was surprised after driving in that the desk staff didn't have any idea where the nearest garage would be to park our car for the weekend. This again, is juat something that for tourists would be nice information to provide.
Thankful the price made this value ok for the money that was spent,If i did ever stay here again I would be sire to better prepare and pack things like water for drinking overnight
