I liked my stay I think yall just need a pool

A fellow at a nearby bar told us that The Doubletree used to be the Hotel Utica and was one of the first hotels in the city. It has great original architecture and features! They’ve definitely done a great job of keeping the original feel with modern amenities. I will definitely stay here again.

Pulled into parking lot and a homeless woman approached us begging. That evening there were people hanging in the streets and a lot of police — 5 police cars.

Gorgeous hotel

Only way to describe our stay was disappointing. We stayed 3 nights and we were out of the room all day. We requested housekeeping both days, once from the front desk. That didn’t happen and since that didn’t work we requested cleaning directly from a housekeeper the next. Nothing. After a long day all you want to do is take a nice shower and go to sleep in a made bed. I had to go to the front desk and request clean towels. If you are planning to stay here I would recommend a to revise your plan and stay somewhere else.

Beautiful, historic building. Comfortable and clean. The area is a little sketchy but I never felt unsafe.

It smelled like cigarettes in my room . My room did not get cleaned.

Easy access from rt#90. Close by to restaurants and stanley theater. Friendly night life located in walking distance. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

My check in with the overnight staff at the front desk was smooth and welcoming. My room was clean, my floor was quiet. I had a slight issue with the wifi but it wasnt a problem. I have a hard time sleeping so about 9:30am one of the housekeeping staff I assumed opened my door & scared me out of my sleep which was strange because check out isnt until 11am. The front desk agent matt was very attentive to my issue so I will be giving this hotel another chance.

Very friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times. Never any issues. I will say the elevator could use some updating. Very small and a little warn out. Rooms are great. Always a view of the city and beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Air conditioner works great. The shower is amazing-hot and lots of water pressure.
