This was a really great spot for getting out and about. Unfortunately we didn’t receive any of the perks that were advertised including a room upgrade and a complimentary bottle of champagne upon checkin. That might be more on Expedia than it is on the hotel, but those perks were why we booked over other budget options available. Definitely check out the rooftop bar and take a bike ride through the greenway near the Hudson.

Rooms are very clean great location. Staff was great. Well visit again.

The hotel is in a great location and overall very nice. The service lets it down because the staff are at best disinterested ( reception) and sometimes rude ( coffee shop). The roof top bar is also a bit of a negative because unless you pre book ( which you have to know) you cannot get a table and the constant arrival of non hotel guests means that you can be waiting 10 minutes to get an elevator up to your room

The hotel was very run down. Flooring in the room was coming up, and the A/C was not working. Long black hair was on the floor in the bathroom. It was just over all not a clean or good stay experience. We tried to change rooms but the manger said there were no more rooms, and we could not change to another hotel due to full occupancy in near by hotels. The manager offer a refund, but during check out, they changed and said they could not accommodate our request. Only could offer refund to the resort fee, which was not alot, but that as yet to be refunded. The photos on their website is not a real representation of the rooms or view. I would spend alittle more money and stay somewhere else, don't say at this hotel.

Everything was very well preserved. Service was good. The rooms were clean. I will come back definitely.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! We had 4 rooms booked and it’s absolutely not worth the price ! It’s more likely 3 star hotel ! The rooms need highly update with AC and bathroom! Avoid this hotel

For the price they charge, I expected at least a comfortable stay, but it felt more like a budget motel than a proper hotel. Save your money and look elsewhere — there are far better options in the area.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Hotel Hugo was excellent. Would stay there again for sure. I particularly enjoyed the cafe off the lobby and the roof top bar which has amazing views of the Hudson and downtown.

Very close to work. Room infrastructure with problems. Window curtain was not working.

My room had a view of a wall. For $350 I hoped for better. My room was also next to the utility closet where the cleaners would hang out with their music on. Many doors opening and closing made it hard to sleep. The amenities and roof top bars are available to the public making it not as valuable to me.

Excellent service. Staff friendly and nice. Property is in a nice neighborhood!! We love the stay there. It would be nice to have more time to stay longer!!

The hotel was fine - not great, but fine. Very young clients for the most part. Rooms quite small, but perfectly efficient. The thing that makes this property really good is the staff and service. They are extremely helpful, cheerful and kind. Can’t say enough good about them. Great Soho neighborhood - parking within two blocks - plenty of dining options.

We like the quiet location and the hotel is clean and comfortable. Food options limited but there are restaurants in walking distance. The room was basic but clean and the bed and pillows were great!
