I spent one night at Hotel Rivera and really enjoyed my stay. It's just a short walk away from the bus terminal and ferry station. The historic centre of the city is an easy ten minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel was very clean, staff were really friendly and the buffet breakfast was good. I would definitely stay again.

Certo que a escolha do Hotel Rivera faz parte desse contentamento. Um hotel aconchegante, com detalhes cuidadosos. Muitos o acham simples, nós achamos essa simplicidade sofisticada. O quarto é bem simples pelo valor de US 72,00. É bem limpo, porém o banheiro é básico e quarto nem armário tem. Mas como foi apenas uma noite, tudo bem.A localização é boa.

This is a good choice for travellers as it’s clean, quiet and comfortable and close to the bus and ferry terminals and with in easy walking distance for sightseeing. Rooms are not large, but they are comfortable. Wifi is good and the breakfast, though not extensive, is enjoyable. The owners and staff obviously take pride the their establishment.

Passamos apenas uma noite em Colônia do Sacramento, vindo de Montevidéu a caminho de Buenos Aires. A pousada é bastante simples, mas limpa e muito bem localizada, perto do terminal rodoviário e do porto; e a uma curta caminhada do centro histórico. O atendente foi muito atencioso, nos prestando todas as informações necessárias sobre passeios, restaurantes e atrações da cidade. Estava bastante frio, mas havia roupas de cama suficientes no quarto. Ficamos num quarto superior, bem silencioso. Café da manhã simples. Para quem está na cidade apenas de passagem, oferece um bom custo-benefício.

We had a great experience at this small hotel. The staff was wonderful. Location was fabulous. Everything was walking distance. We decided to have our own lunch at the patio and they set the tables for us!

When we first checked in they didnt have our reservation. Something they have to fix with Hotels.com we had to stay on the phone with Hotels.com for 30 minutes to fix this. In the end I have to say it an OK stay. But the host was amazing.

O hotel é simples e acolhedor. O atendimento é nota 10. Café da manhã bem melhor do que em outros locais do Uruguai. Eu, minha esposa e meu filho de 5 anos não temos do que reclamar.

Friendly and wonderful front desk staff. Room was fine. A nearby dog barked all night the first night. Location was perfect, close to everything. Breakfast mediocre. Decent overall. WiFi worked fine.
