Clean property, centrally located in Old Quarter, friendly staff. Close (walkable) to many tourist destinations such as Hoa Lo Prison & Train Street.

Friendly staffs, feels like home, yummy breakfast, convenient location. They even arrange airport transfer for us at 4am. highly recommended to anyone visiting Hanoi!

Ma famille a passé 5 jours 4 nuits à l’hôtel Royal Palace, et a beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Les réceptionnistes étaient très prévenants, surtout le matin pour aider à coordonner nos arrangements de prise en charge à l’hôtel et s’assurer que nous avons toutes nos affaires en partant.

This hotel was a great find! Recommended by a friend and it was perfect for our needs. Worked with staff to book tours and they were very accomendating! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We booked our tours throught the hotel (Ms. Phuong Bui) and it could not have been easier. The tours were well organized and friendly as well, which shows well for the hotel-I am so glad they use good tour groups. Breakfast was really good and you could order from a menu or have cereal and fruit or both! Wonderful Stay!

Very nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Everything written on Expedia.com is right about Jennie. Jennie seems to be the manager. She really goes out of his way to help his guest.She walked me to the pharmacy to help explain what i needed for my ailments. Hotel is located very close to attractions in Hanoi. Breakfast was made to order.I recommend this property.

I received a great clean room with very hot shower, and a great selection of television channels to choose from. Would stay again if in Hanoi, best hotel I've stayed in, in south east Asia yet for the price.

This is a great little hotel in the old quarter. Great location, quiet room and great price. They even booked my sapa trip for me, which is a great plus. Phuong were really helpful and really nice and chatty. Definitely recommend this place!

We were accommodated by ROYAL PALACE HOTEL for our entire stay in VIETNAM and had a wonderful stay, with the staff which included a very helpful and assisting persons in Angela AND PHUONG iBUI for all our needs, whenever needed was assisted. The food attention was excellent and well worth the value for money..the additional trip to HALONG BAY was arranged by Jennie and went well and had an enjoyable day. The trip on boat was good as well as the food and the transport there and back. They took good care of all on board the bus and the boat.

Le vieux quartier de Hanoï est toujours animé, mais l'hôtel Amara offre un lieu de séjour calme et paisible. Chaque matin, nous nous sentions détendus et reposés, prêts à explorer la ville à nouveau. Je le recommande vivement à ceux qui recherchent à la fois animation et tranquillité.

Staff was so polite and during our stay Alex and Jenny helped us alot. we came for my husband’s birthday and they helped me to arrange a little surprise as well.

If you want to be in the very heart of town the location is great. Staff were very helpful. All else was ok for the money.

Open minded to to many things I found the Royal Palace to be an excellent location in the heart of this vibrant city, close to many of the attraction and must see places in Hanoi Jimmy who mans the reception could not be more helpful advising you on the things to do and places to see and when the best times to visit Breakfast is served with the minimum of fuss for your own diet needs and always with a big smile if there is a better start to the day I have not found it.

It’s hard to find a big room in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, but this hotel surprised us!

Le personnel de l’hôtel Royal Palace a non seulement fourni un excellent service, mais nous a également donné la meilleure recommandation de nourriture locale. Ils ont suggéré un restaurant appelé Net hue, et c’était absolument incroyable ! La nourriture était authentique, savoureuse et représentait vraiment la cuisine vietnamienne.

Clean room! Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice place, quiet, very near the old town. I would recommend everyone to stay here! Good breakfast, nice hot shower, clean toilet, and service taxi to the airport.

Value for money, the best! Buffet breakfast. Right in the middle of the places you would like to visit and experience authentic Vietnamese foods. Very near to the shopping areas especially the Night Market. Staff are accommodating and can understand English so no problem so much in communication.

Best location and excellent staff

Excellent service from staff. Jennie was extremely friendly and efficient. Made my stay really comfortable. The room was really neat with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Angela also helped with the booking of one day tours to Halong Bay and HoaLu - Tam Coc. Great service. Will definitely stay at this hotel should I visit Vietnam again.
