Very well located in District 1 — plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. The street is quieter than some of the busier parts of District 1, but you're still just a short walk from the action when you want it.
The staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming. Any issue I flagged was resolved immediately (for example, a hiccup with the self-service laundry was sorted right away).
Breakfast had a solid spread with an egg station, pho station, and good variety from day to day. I never felt the need to step out for breakfast, which says a lot.
Overall, a great place to stay. I originally booked for 3 nights and was happy enough that I extended for the remaining 4 nights of my trip rather than trying somewhere else.
What could be better:
1) Coffee options. I couldn't find a good American-style cappuccino or iced latte anywhere on-site. I tried both the vending machine and the in-house cafe, and both were just okay.
2) In-room irons. There are irons available in the laundry room, but I'd prefer one in each room, as is standard at most US hotels.
