Pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Would stay again

Everything was great.Will stay there again when I’m in Cardiff

Always spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Welcoming, comfy , clean

I stayed in the attic room and it was exceptionally clean. The shower did suddenly go cold the morning of leaving, luckily I was nearly done. I like that you don't have to mess around with check in, they just send you a code to get in to the building and to your room. Big plus on having a couple of oat milks in the room, that's rare. Bed is comfortable and the TV is a smart one so you can login to your accounts. I think another table for the tea/coffee/kettle would be better than it being on the only bedside table. Unfortunately I didn't get chance to see the pub because it closes quite early on weekdays (2230 I think) and I got back from my show around then. Really good place to stay as a solo traveller. There aren't constant staff but there are numbers to call if you need help. 10am check out is far too early

I stayed here for work, so there was just me and I needed the basics and value. What I got was a very nice room which looked recently renovated and had everything I needed. I was in what would have been the loft space, so there were some areas of sloped, low ceiling, but that was avoidable. The room did get quite warm, but the sun lights both opened allowing cool, fresh air through the large and comfortable room. I would definitely stay again for work. It was a 20 minute walk into Cardiff (maybe longer for slower walkers), but there were plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby.

The staff made this place. The room was very clean and had everything I needed too. But the staff were so helpful and kind. Would absolutely stay again!

Easy 15 to 20-minute stroll into the city centre or plenty of amenities nearby. Room was clean and spacious despite being in loft space. Could do with some more shelving or small table(s) to feel more homely. Excellent soundproofing, wife was able to nap even with a stag doo in the pub garden. Self check in and out was easy-peasy

Room was spotless and I like the idea of using a code so you can come and go as you please without worrying about keys. Everything in the room was modern and everything worked. Met the owner who was very pleasant and wanted to know if there was anything I needed. The area and room was very quiet.

Great place to stay close to the city centre. Very helpful team and the rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was amazing, great vegetarian breakfast. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you.

Very friendly/helpful staff upon arrival. The room was spotlessly clean and struggled to find any issues with the hotel. Bit of a diamond in the rough kind of area, however as a solo traveler, the unique code to get into the hotel and the room added that extra security. Easy walk to all amenities and to the city centre, less than 20 minutes. Great value for money

Easy arrival with nice spacious and clean room

For a budget stay in Cardiff this is perfect. An uber to and from town is around £6-8 depending on the time of day. Easy to access the room, youre given a code on the day of your stay. Friendly welcome from lady at the bar who showed me where to go and told me about local food options. I stayed in room B. Very clean, shower seemed brand new and spotless. Not the most powerful but a good consistent temperature. Good flush on loo (important to know these things!). Bed was comfy. Fulll size kettle, hairdryer and couple of coat hangers provided. Very quiet area, couldnt hear too much noise from other guests although the very squeaky floorboards above woke me a couple times. Should be ok if you wear earplugs. Otherwise a good night sleep. Super friendly staff and a very cute friendly cat greeted me the next morning, though I didnt try the breakfast I enjoyed a coffee whilst waiting for my taxi. As a lone traveller, in Cardiff for work and a teeny but of sightseeing, I didnt need anything more so i was very happy with the Crofts and would choose to stay again.

Cats was the problem for me. They let two cats roam where they please, even jumping on the tables while your drink is there. And the worse thing was they let them in the breakfast area. Cereal was on the bar area and the cats were jumping onto the bar next to milk, cereal, cutlery, disgusting.

Spotless, comfortable room. Helpful staff. Excellent value.

Street parking available. Room modern and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bar is cheap and a good selection of drinks.

The place was so clean, bed was comfy and we loved the contactless entry and exit. Will definitely be booking here again! Thank you to the team, Josh

Really good value for money breakfast

Spotless room

Arrived before check in opened and staff were amazing letting me check in early. The room was fantastic for a one night stay. The hotel was above the pub which was a great way to spend the evening. Theres also two pub cats so if you like cats, it’s a brilliant place.
