I arrived quite late and went into the pub downstairs to ask how to access the hotel. The woman behind the bar was so helpful and friendly and walked me round to the entrance and explained everything to me thoroughly, despite the fact it was horrible weather outside. I was on the top floor and the room was extremely clean, with a roll top bath and extremely comfortable bed. I loved the fact they even have Oatly milk with the tea tray, something most expensive hotels don't have, nevermind a room that cost me under £40. I was really pleased with my stay and would highly recommend.

There was perfect except the foot towel was dirty and there was dried blood on my pillow. Probably was not be able to spotted. If I tell them probably they change it but it was fine for me. Other things are perfect. Definitely recommended.

Lovely hotel, a gem in a downtrodden part of Cardiff. Staff free check in meant we couldn’t ask about the promised parking. Lack of furniture meant the spare bed doubled as wardrobe and dressing table. Staff were excellent, the room spacious and clean and breakfast very tasty indeed.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. We found parking right out the front and stayed there overnight with no issues. The room was lovely and clean with a nice bathroom and comfy beds. The staff who showed us to our room was very kind and helpful and it was easy to come and go from the hotel with a unique access code. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

A very enjoyable stay. Room clean, basic & all mod cons. A fan in the room proved invaluable in the hot weather. Had lunch & a drink in the pub below. Very friendly. Didn't hear any noise at night but was on the top floor. Great location & anly a 20 minute walk to Cardiff city centre. Would definitely stay here again.

My 8 year old "it's really nice. The beds are really comfy and there is a nice few. When you wake up you can smell their nice food cooking" an excellent nights stay. You should definitely go 5 stars
