My wife and I have just spent 3 nights at Malmaison Newcastle whilst visiting relatives in Newcastle. I can honestly say we had a wonderful visit the staff at the hotel were fantastic including Teresa & Aimee in the dining room and Claire on reception. It was a great stay - only one thing that marred it was one very grumpy member of their bar staff. Everybody else were wonderful and would have given 5 stars if not for Barman.

We had room 306 - a beautiful room - very spacious and fab décor, also pipping clean, with lovely large bath towels. Bar was also plush and comfy.

I absolutely loved staying in this hotel. The location on the quay side is beautiful. I was fortunate to have a river view. I had never been to Newcastle before but finding the hotel and parking was so easy. I loved that the car park had spaces for the hotel and it is so close to the hotel and such good value for money too. The hotel decor is beautiful and I was very impressed. The staff were extremely welcoming on arrival. The room was perfect, it was a good size, had all the amenities you needed and it was very clean. The only criticism would be the pillows bring a little soft for my liking but that’s personal preference. The bathroom and shower were perfect. Dining and breakfast at the hotel was excellent, a great choice on the menu and the food didn’t disappoint. I stayed half board and thought it was excellent value for money. The breakfast was fantastic with self- serve and hot food menu options. All in all my stay at Malmaison was excellent and I would highly recommend this hotel. I’m definitely going to rebook for another stay.

Lovely room, felt very luxurious. Staff friendly especially the breakfast team who provided excellent service. Everywhere clean and well maintained. Main tv had Chromecast but would have liked to use other smart tv options to log in

We stayed 3 nights for our wedding anniversary. Everything was fantastic from the lady who checked us in, the room was amazing with a lovely view.

We had stayed the night before at the INNSiDE by Meliá which was excellent. This was expensive, dark and trying to hard to be Malmaison. Not fun enough.

very dark reception/ hotel. Room was fine/ parking was very unclear - had to call for clarity/ part in another companies space/ breakfast was good.
