The location is great and the bed is very comfortable. I love this hotel but the housekeeper didn't clean the room throughly. I found out 1 opened water can left on the floor when I entered the room. The housekeeping manager emailed me to apologize. Hope they will clean the rooms throughly

In general, a good stay. The room — a bit small for the price paid — was clean and spacious. We loved the classy decor. But all in all, service is great as expected as a Fairmount accommodation.

The hotel is very good, but the room space is very small.

Lovely building

Upgrading to a Fairmont Gold room/floor was excellent. Beautiful views, breakfast, happy hour snacks and dessert. The only note is that there is a step up from the room to the bathroom, which might be an issue for some people. The hotel is conveniently located in Inner Harbor, just a short walk from the seaplane terminal. You can walk to many sites and there are tour buses available just outside the hotel to take you to other sites. We were very happy with our stay.

The team at this hotel is 1st class in every manner. From checking in to checking out, the bell men, housekeeping, the concierge were all stellar. We actually had rooms that included their hospitality suite and it was as nice as it gets. Great food, drinks and amazing indoor and outdoor seating over the harbor. The main bar/dining room is beautiful and the tea offering was ideal the next day. Great location, walked everywhere and overall, a 5 star experience

Great place to stay

The Gold Level touches were unparalleled. One of the most lovely properties we’ve stayed at.

We had dinner, afternoon tea in the hotel. We signed the bills but the hotel held our credits. They explained it was their policy. Obviously they don’t trust and respect guests.

Great location. Service was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Attended the tea at the empress, had a great time. Service was excellent. Ordered breakfast to our room. Once again service was excellent, but the food was not good. Had a massage at the hotel spa. One of the best i experienced.

Beautiful hotel, room, and we loved the automatic turn down service. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and it's the perfect location to walk everywhere. We'll definitely return again.

I liked the hotel very much,the staff, the breakfast,the grounds and the room were all excellent. I stayed here years ago when the atmosphere was English country house. Today it’s much more contemporary. I know there’s a wing that appears to maintain the old atmosphere…but something was lost. Still its a very good hotel.
