Great room good food &friendly staff

Warm welcome from all the staff we encountered. Comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast (included)

Easy access to the hotel from the Eastgate shopping centre car park. Helpful reception. Booked a Junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious. At the price of the room, though I think the breakfast should be fully inclusive . As it was, we had the included continental breakfast which was very good. The location in the centre of Chester is most convenient. There was a bit of late night noise from drunken revellers in the street but that is not the fault of the hotel. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Hot water broken/turned off in bathroom sink, breakfast supplement for full English breakfast is obscene... when hotel states breakfast included that should mean full breakast at booking...dated Hotel, shower rings discombobulated, winged chair in room needed cleaning, 8noperarive curtsin controls

Stayed several times , never disappoints, only downside is not being able to see the continental options , totally agree with table service for hot, but I like to see continental options before choosing

Hotel has a brilliant, central location and is only a short walk from the station. The hotel's service was excellent and all staff were lovely. Greeted at the door, taken to our room and shown the amenities and offered bookings both internally and externally. Room had a good range of premium tea and coffee, fresh milk and toiletries, too. Bed was big and comfy. Robes were provided too. Breakfast was delicious. We upgraded to a traditional full breakfast and the ingredients were great quality and tasted good. Check out was a personal process, not just dumping keys in a box. We really enjoyed it.

Very attentive staff. Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Location perfect for shops and to dine out. Will definitely be returning as soon as can.

The hotel was very inviting and the room was spacious and clean, although a little dated it adds to the charm. The doorman and the car valet were exceptional and were very charming.

Perfect location for exploring Chester

If you want any protein for breakfast then the continental that’s included is not for you. The full English is good but it’s £12.50 extra, which is reasonable. Our room was ok, but bathroom was a bit “tired”. As always at Grosvenor, all the staff and service was amazing.

Lovely big, bed, very comfortable. Clean room. Staff were very helpful. Continental breakfast was fresh and very filling. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back x

Suite expensive but not really a suite, a bigger room with partial partition. Street outside very noisy with revellers all night.

We loved our room - we had a suite, it was amazing apart from the lack of ventilation, which made it a little dusty. Also the hotel appeared under staffed, they had forgotten to give us replacement milk for coffee, it took 2 visits to reception as the phones weren’t manned. Breakfast took a while. Staff didn’t look happy which is so unusual for this hotel.
