I had tried to cancel this hotel booking 3 weeks ago through hotel.com ! Unfortunately, according to hotels.com CS, the hotel Had no response at all to our request for fully refund due to the Coronavirus case , therefore we couldn’t fly and had to cancel our flight !! Until now , we still waiting for the hotel to response to our refund , even now the date for staying had Already passed and we still had no response from this hotel ! Although I haven’t stay in this hotel but this kind of services is unacceptable !

Great breakfast but the coffee could be better

The hotel is cleaned to a very high standard. On our arrival we were met by Vladimir who was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. Our room was immaculate with clean towels twice a day, Marlon needs a special mention as he always left a different artwork with towels on our daily return. The Quaterdeck bar is great, a special mention must go to Reuben and Ritika who were so attentive and always so welcoming, loveliest people. The pool boys Matthew, Max and a lovely boy from Sweden in Merkanti adult pool were outstanding, so helpful and always ready for a chat. Lastly would like to mention Hmad Draabou assistant manager who was outstanding ,extremely helpful and available to help at all times. When we were leaving waiting for our taxi he came over for a chat and asked how our stay had been. Fabulous hotel, our fourth time staying and will definitely be back.

Staff was super kind and helpful

We were able to completely relax and the amenities of the hotel were as good as expected. The service and staff were excellent. Perhaps one weakness, was the lack of staff at breakfast who focused on collecting dirty plates and didn’t actively offer tea and coffee when first seated - self-service and chasing staff isn’t very five star. Gym is superb. Relaxation areas and their own cafe very good too. We have stayed at the Weston Dragonara before and the Hilton was better.

La camera è pulita, grande, accogliente. Il personale gentile e i pasti variegati. Unico neo è che la struttura è vecchiotta e anche alcuni corridoi interni di accesso alle camere sembrano non rinnovati, con moquette e portoncini vecchi di ingresso alle camere. Anche gli spazi esterni sono old style e manca un accesso diretto al mare. Per il resto, il personale è molto gentile ed i servizi sono ottimi.

Superbt hotell på Malta. Fantastiskt skönt med beachclub om man föredrar lugn pool utan barn. Men den stora poolen precis vid hotellet är jättebra för barnfamiljer. Vi uppskattade beachcluben enormt mycket så fin service och goda luncher. Även övriga faciliteter på hotellet var mkt bra såsom gym och inomhus pool. Vi älskade hotellet, även om omgivningarna precis intill Paceville) inte riktigt var vår smak.

Sehr grosszügig gebaute Anlage. Sehr saubere Unterkunft und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Verschiedene grosse Aussenpools. Die Anzahl der Liegen ist etwas knapp, aber wir haben immer einen Platz gefunden. Auch der Wellness- & Fitness-Bereich ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Zudem ist die Unterkunft sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen.

Prima dell arrivo ho contattato la struttura per info sia via mail che con messaggi tramite l applicazione e nessuno ha mai risposta. Il personale delle reception non parlano italiano e in particolare chi ha effettuato il chek in non ha fatto il minimo sforzo per capirci, distratta e scocciata

It’s important to pay more attention to the professional training of the hotel staff. For example pool staff and front desk. I would like to specifically highlight the appalling lack of professionalism, rudeness, and complete inattentiveness to guests displayed by the pool staff member. Already 6 years we come here every year and He is always the perfect example of a square peg in a round hole for this job.

Room was cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was very good with a fantastic choice. All pools and their surrounding areas were very clean

Bear in mind that outside of peak (hot) season, the hotel does not allow you to control the aircon in your room! The thermostat in my room did not work during my Spring 2026 stay. Reception confirmed that the temperature is centrally controlled outside of Summer and guests cannot adjust their room aircon manually. Something I have never seen in a 5* hotel and piss poor. Hotel and reception staff / concierge all excellent

For us, the hotel is one of the most important aspects of a holiday - and a massive part of that is the staff. They are integral to every aspect, and every member of staff we interacted with over 6 days were exemplary. From pre-holiday interactions with Sandro the concierge, check-in, housekeeping, beech/pool staff for towels, food and drinks and most of all, everyone in the exec lounge. Everyone was polite, engaging, friendly - and genuinely made us feel welcome and valued. You normally get a couple of outstanding people you remember, but in this instance - it was simply everyone. In fact, it was this that made us return for our 2nd visit, and rebook a 3rd. The hotel is outstanding. Rooms great, pools awesome, SPA lovely. Loads of facilities. Even when the hotel was at capacity by hosting a conference, the staff were attentive, on-hand and above and beyond. Malta itself is just wonderful. St. Julians is ideally located with easy access to great restaurants and bars, whilst the Hilton retains a "resort" feel, meaning you wouldn't need to leave the hotel if you didn't want to! A sincere thank you to everyone, again - and see you in May 2027!

Could not have expected more. Even the food was great

Breakfast buffet was great, lots of choices. Outdoor pools were nice although it could be crowded at times.

Die gebuchte Halbpension war völlig sinnlos. Das zwar reichlich Frühstück hat den Charm einer Bahnhofshalle im Vollbetrieb. Wer einen gehobenen Standard erwartet wird endtäuscht. Kaffee zur Selbstabholung am Automaten, welche entweder nur teilweise funktionieren oder weder Tassen noch Unterteller vorrätig haben. Häufig bleibt Automatenkaffee im Pappbecher. Das Schlimmste jedoch das Abendessen. Der Service ist völlig überfordert. so dauert es bis man etwas zum Trinken bekommt gerne über eine Stunde. Bis 2 Gänge serviert waren vergingen am Rekordabend zweieinhalb Stunden. Nach drei Versuchen im Restaurant und trotz mehrmaligem Feedback, gelang es Ihnen auch dann noch nicht unseren Tisch mit 6 Personen zu versorgen. Am dritten Abend kamen nach 30 Minuten 4 von 6 Vorspeisen ohne auch nur die Getränke bekommen zu haben. Die Reaktion des Restaurantmanagers war nur laute Gebrüll mit seinem Personal. Ein Kindermenu ist ein trockenes Burger Brötchen mit einem trockenen Gefrierpattie ohne jede Sauße oder auch nur ein Blatt Salat. Auf Ketschup um es überhaupt essen zu können wartet man wieder bis alles kalt ist. Ich hatte das Hotelmanagement angeschrieben, jedoch nicht einmal eine Antwort bekommen. Zum Glück gibt es in der nahen Umgebung reichlich wirklich großartige Restaurants. Alles in allen ist Malta trotzdem ein schöner Urlaub. Das Hilton Hotel ist, wenn auch schon deutlich abgenutzt, akzeptabel. Aber man sollte keinesfalls etwas gehobenes erwarten.

Had a great stay! If you’re looking for a nice resort from which you can easily access all parts of the island, this is a great option. The amenities are great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was excellent.
