Thoroughly enjoyable stay-perfect location, immaculate room, good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Some yoghurt with breakfast would have been good.

The staff were all welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was recently refurbished and was clean and comfortable with a great view. The breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. I would recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel, staff extremely helpful. The room was a little tired and could do with a makeover. Outdated furnature and windows extremely dirty. Our room situated directly above the bar and was extremely noisy especially when entertainment was on. Staff were helpful and food was excellent, especially the breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend the food. Would stay at this hotel again, but would ask for a room higher than the first floor. floor one

Was lovely hotel room was amazing with sea views and of high standard. Staff were extremely good and communication was good. Even had use of sauna which we used and gym if you are fitness mad.Also had a band on Friday which was lovely and food in restaurant was brilliant too. Would certainly be going back and even stroll to town only takes 5/10 minutes.

Staff were very warm and welcoming - room and premises were great and maintained well. I’d maybe add some coasters to the room for the teas/coffees (and a few extra biscuits!) but aside from that, would happily stay again. Great coastal view from the room and easy parking too - which I think could be upsold more on here for potential guests comparing hotels. Thank you, San Clu!

For the amount of money we payed for the stay, the property seems outdated, in poor state, and not cleaned to the full extent as much as expected. The shower head came off and had to be screwed back in during the shower, speaking of the shower the drain was blocked up so would have to minimise water pressure to avoid overflow. The TV remote in the room was disgusting and seemed to never been cleaned. The hallways and lift to and from the room were outdated, as well as the room decor. Chipped walls and furniture with visible moisture damage on walls, and a window very difficult to open. The prices for breakfast and restaurant were way too high also. The only good part was the air-conditioning really.

Staff was pleasant and hotel is well located near the waterfront. Far away from shopping and restaurants. Nearby bus stop was helpful. Staff should have more information on hand that is helpful for travelers, such as how to find out about buses and cabs. The restaurant should offer more options for breakfast at affordable rates and not one rate fits all.

Lovely room, a surprise was tge 4 poster bed! Beautiful linen nuce clean and modern bathroom with a shower. Nice view of the beach and sea. Small park park but plenty of spaces on road outside.

Great hotel with fantastic views of the sea. Staff were polite and really helpful. Good breakfast to start your day.

All was super, we had a very big sea view room.

Had a great stay. Although the hotel was full, there was no noise or unsocial behaviour. Would recommend a stay.

The San Clu is always welcoming and clean. They’ve changed the breakfast service since our last visit from buffet to served. On balance we prefer the buffet but the food is good.

Good location for us and had a nice view of the beach. Couldn't park in the car park but no problem as plenty of free parking outside. Music in the bar good, and bar and restaurant staff great. Oh yeah the music didn't stop us from sleeping as couldn't hear it in the room.

Great place for a night stay when visiting family nearby. Room was a bit tired and in need of some love, but functional enough. Rooms at the back of the building have noise due to ventilation / fans but weren’t a problem for us. Air con was amazing!

The rooms are what you would expect although if you have mobility difficulties you may want to request a ground/lower floor as the lift is small and the steps and corridors are also quite small. The hotel itself was nice, a clean seperate bathroom and the view was lovely from our room and we were in a standard and there was a basic AC. In this heat a fridge would be a nice addition so you could put your water in there but there were bottles of water for us on the side. The staff were really lovely and friendly, if you can get on the road outside parking is free (we were very lucky and got parked right outside the hotel). The location is great as you can walk up a lovely promenade towards the main beach and it's only about 10 minutes. Can't complain!
