it was a lovely hotel... everything was perfect till the AC was broken on the hottest day of the year. I know the owner try their best to fix it but still....I couldn't sleep in those days... and I was really disappoint that there was no any compensation on this accident....

The owner was very friendly - nice lounge room. Great option if you’re looking for a smaller more intimate hotel in the Byward Market area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at The Swiss Hotel. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. It was a smaller room, but perfect for my husband and I. The location is convenient, as it is right off Rideau St. The area can be a little rough, but the immediate area around the hotel was clean and felt safe at all hours of the day. We also loved the Nespresso machine. Great stay, and the owner and her son was the sweetest! So friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot for your next stay in Ottawa :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Swiss Hotel. Clean and well-appointed rooms, excellent/central location (within walking distance of the ByWard Market, restaurants, museums, etc.), and the owner was exceptionally helpful in supporting our needs. The complementary lattes in the morning were a wonderful way to start each day.
