Excellent hotel in the edge of Malahide and extremely convenient location from Dublin Airport.

Hotel is being renovated atm but this did not affect our stay at all. Beautiful location, great size of room, spotlessly clean. Most enjoyable spa. Had dinner in the coast restaurant. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Dinner was horrible. Wait staff was almost non existent. 20 minutes for drinks. The breaded fish was all batter, tiny fish. The breaded chicken was too much batter, minimal chicken & DRY. STEVEN our waiter never returned to check on us or see if we needed anything. Very bad experience. On a pisitive note the bartender in the bar in the back was lovely. She was very attentive and kind. She made us feel welcome and she was fun to chat with. Everyone at the bar enjoyed her and we had a good time.

Room was great and we liked the Ritual products in the bathroom. However, we couldn’t use the self check - in service but everything worked with the regular reception.

The room was fine however we were woke up after 8am with the noise of heavy drilling. We were not informed this was going to happen at this early hour. Spoke to receptionist and we were not very pleased with their response.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-located hotel in Malahide. The room was very clean and comfortable (our only quibble was that the pillows were not as comfortable as the bed.) The breakfast buffet is very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'll stay here again the next time we're in Malahide.

My stay was relaxing and the hotel is a great place to forget about the world outside.rooms are spotless and the restaurant is well worth a visit.the check in staff could be a wee bit more friendly but the rest of the staff were excellent.

Location and parking

Beautiful hotel, staff were so lovely great bar areas, breakfast first class. So close to the village, excellent leisure facilities.

Everything was amazing, the staff, food, service and the decor is fantastic. I have stayed a few times over the years and never enjoyed the Grand, however what a turnaround from the new owners have taken it over.
