Loved this! Just small rooms.

Great staff. Pool was unique. Would have liked a bit more space in the rooms and a mini fridge. Good location just outside downtown, walking distance or short bus ride.

Public transportation right outside property. The room was clean and the hot tub was amazing.

Nice people and very friendly.

The rooms need a bit of maintenance but otherwise fine and good size for families

We stayed in a 2 bedrooms family suite Room was clean and spacious. It was impressive. If there is a full kitchen, would be amazing!

Close to the shopping and dining area and the staff were all good and helpful. Hot tub was good though. The thing that I don't like - when I took the shower during our first day of stay in the hotel, the tub drain was clogged and the water took forever to drain. They fixed it on the following day.

The check process was super fast meaning they just wanted your money. Took about 45 seconds. They didn’t explain anything about the property or specials or anything of that sort. Our air conditioner was broken and I requested it to be fixed but they never sent anyone. I made this request twice. Housekeeping is very slow I might add. Room was never cleaned in the 3 nights we were there. The balcony was nice until the smell of stale cigarettes and joints started coming out. Upon further inspection there was a few hundred spent joints and cigarettes in the railing of the balcony. The most upsetting thing was waking up to 27 degree heat in the room at 1:30am and having to open up all doors and windows to get cool air. I would never recommend to stay at this establishment. The maintenance on the building is lacking as well. Found many unsightly things about this place. The front desk staff also need additional training in this industry. 2 out of 10.

No air conditioning

Beautiful hotel! The man made cave spa is the most spectacular thing I ever saw at a hotel. This hotel is located in a prime location. Walkable to all shops and restaurants. Quaint hotel. Teenage kids loved it. Best hotel on Banff Ave!

Great location for exploring

Our room was one of the premium ones with kitchen and living area on upper floor with AC, and room with washroom in the basement no AC. Sleeping area was humid. Carpet at lower floor was old, toilet bowl had yellow spots. Since when there’s no bottled water provided in the rooms, even though there was vending machine located outside.

Absolutely beautiful property, wonderful stay. Definitely will book again, staff very friendly and helpful.

Love this hotel, a bit pricey but they made it worth it! Very clean, rustic but pretty, hot tub cave is unique and fun, Chili’s was amazing for breakfast, and you can’t beat the location

Average condition. Good location. Not much choice for breakfast in onsite restaurant for vegetarians.

Stayed here July 1-2, 2025. Room needs upgrades. TV is from 2010 and very slow and low quality. Shower had crazy amounts of buildup. Elevator was not working. Gym is absolutely terrible, only supplying with dumbbells and an elliptical. Basement area is very dark and old. Pool looks outdated and unclean. Can’t believe there’s no Air conditioning for a standard room worth $550 per night! Only provided a standing fan. Chilis was as expected. In conclusion, the hotel is old, dark, dirty, and outdated. The only good part was the free bus passes and the location. Not at all worth the price we paid.
