clean n well maintained friendly staff

Not accommodating in any way, could not stray here after a long drive with kids because the guy at the front desk would not let me pay for the room upfront along with the deposit. Unbelievable! Had a reservation that stated I could pay in any way upon arrival and would only take a credit card. When I explained that I misplaced it along our long drive he would not take full payment. As I have never heard of this at any major hotel I took it as a red flag and we could not have been happier, went a few mins down the street and got two rooms at the new finished Delta and had dinner at the Boston Pizza BUILT INTO the HOTEL! Kids were super happy, so glad we didn’t stay here!

Bed was too high, A/C Heating - difficult setting thermostat - it was either too hot or too cold. Sitting area was good to have. Full sized Refrigerator with freezer was great. The unit is setup for longer term stays rather than quick in and out.

I love that there are family suites with a separate bedroom, however, there is mold and water staining in the bathrooms, the food is very bland and some of it is cold, the beds are quite uncomfortable and the pool is freezing cold. I love the Sonesta chain, however, this hotel does require a deep clean and something to warm up the pool.

Overall, a decent place to stay. Some features of the room like the bathroom seem dated. The elevator appearance had better days. The included breakfast is better than most places that we have been to.

The 2 bedroom suite was so spacious and so comfortable for our family of 5.

This was a good hotel. Was nice to have the kitchenette and the layout of the living room being separate from the bedrooms was also nice. Enjoyed the black out curtains, that was a bonus. Was also nice they had free laundry (just need your own detergent). The breakfast was awesome and the staff and service were great! Some minor aesthetics issues (patched door, door knob stuck out due to poor insulation, few ceiling stains, bathroom door was too big for the space and made it difficult to get in and out of). But other than that, it was an overall good hotel and would stay here again.

We stayed for 9 days. Cleaning services are every three days. Breakfasts were simple yet fulfilling. Easy parking and the hotel is located in a rather quiet neighbourhood. Overall experience was good.
