Room is clean and well equipped for tourists to have a pleasant stay there. Staffs are very nice and helpful. The town was quiet and beautiful. We also enjoyed some time in the Opera House. Will be back next time.

This is our second time to stay in this hotel for vacation. Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in Orillia. You can feel like a home once you step in this hotel. Good services with a reasonable price. Thanks again for the great efforts of the staffs in Stone Gate Inn. Thanks for giving us a wonderful March Break.

its a fantastic location for family gathering. The inn isn't very big but it is absolutely a great place for us with good breakfast and helpful staff.it is doubtless to stay in again.

Staff great. No hot water

Great Breakfast. Lots of parking. Said on Hotels. ca that there was shuttle bus to Casino Rama. It stopped a few years ago. So that cost us 40$ 1 way in a cab.

Cute Place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was a nice touch. Will stay there again.

The room was very spacious and clean. I loved that the lounging area with kitchenette was separate from the bedroom.

Room door doesn’t close properly which, judging by all the ajar doors on our floor, was not unique to our room. Took a degree of force to close it from the outside, or to swipe the room key so you could turn the handle and close it. The hotel had excellent wifi, from what I could tell in the lobby, but it did not reach our room. The worst thing though… was the breakfast. I am not a fan of free hotel breakfasts. They disinclined my wife to going out for breakfast and instead your stuck with fake eggs, sub-par meats and sugary everything else. But the free breakfast here was perhaps the worst I’ve seen anywhere. One hot item, scrambled eggs that probably came from a carton, was the only hot item. Pastries came from a bag. Weird yogurt. Just horrible. On the plus side staff were very nice, property was clean and convenient to groceries and a convenience store. TV’s were large and worked fine. Beds were comfy with a decent amount of decent pillows.

Great location, good price range, clean, and breakfast included. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was good for our stay. We visit Orillia annually for the Gordon Lightfoot Weekend and this year’s stay was the best in a few years. Great room, breakfast could have been better - staff weren’t very outgoing and seemed preoccupied chatting amongst themselves. I will recommend the Stone Gate.

Very clean room, breakfast didnt have much variety but was fresh. The woman that was taking care of it was sloppy and was on her phone and didnt speak when spoken to. Parking was limited.

Messy outside. Weeds in flowerbeds. Patched areas in rooms not repainted. Remote controls for tv not working.

Good location. Room decor is dated. Carpet had many dark stains. Toilet wouldn’t flush at 2:30am, had to troubleshoot it myself. Check in was very welcoming and fast, also helpful in arranging a taxi.

Everything was delightful. Great value and very pleasant staff.
