Room is clean and well equipped for tourists to have a pleasant stay there. Staffs are very nice and helpful. The town was quiet and beautiful. We also enjoyed some time in the Opera House. Will be back next time.

This is our second time to stay in this hotel for vacation. Highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in Orillia. You can feel like a home once you step in this hotel. Good services with a reasonable price. Thanks again for the great efforts of the staffs in Stone Gate Inn. Thanks for giving us a wonderful March Break.

its a fantastic location for family gathering. The inn isn't very big but it is absolutely a great place for us with good breakfast and helpful staff.it is doubtless to stay in again.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past, but unfortunately this experience was extremely disappointing. I’m not sure if there are new owners or management, but based on this stay, we would not return. The hallways and rooms were uncomfortably hot, even when the thermostat was set to the lowest temperature. It made it very difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off around 10:15 p.m., and there was absolutely no communication from staff about what was happening or whether guests were safe. Parking is extremely limited, which was frustrating. We also noticed construction around the hotel that was not disclosed at the time of booking. When I contacted Expedia, they called the hotel directly, and the front desk staff claimed there was no construction happening — which was simply not true. I wish I could upload the photos as proof. There was water leaking from the roof of the 4th floor causing tile and wall damage. Additionally, do not expect housekeeping service. We stayed for two nights and did not receive any cleaning service, fresh towels, or basic room refresh. Overall, this stay was very disappointing compared to our previous visits.

Our room did not have a working fireplace. Staff asked us if we wanted ti mive but we had already unpacked. The shower was too small for my boyfriend. The heater didn't work properly either. The staff was very nice and the room was lovely. The pool was not in usuabke condition.

It would be nice to know ahead what the pet fee is

We stay here when we go skiing. It was an easy check-in, the staff are friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. They offer breakfast. It's nice to have the option to change or cancel our stay and the hotel is very affordable. We'll stay here again in the future.

It was a nice stay, had good food options all around town. Staff was good and helpful. Need to improve on breakfast and wear & tear of the place.

The staff was great. At the stone gate. They upgraded us due to issue wirh the room. Since that floor was being renovated. All the staff was helpful. Freindly. The breakfast was decint great variety. This is the only place i we stay at when we go to casino Rama. Over the last five years.

Room was great. Lots of partially started renovations going on and we didn’t know about them at all. I think security is going to be an important improvement as many rooms seemed to be open and unattended.

The room was ok, the tv did not work, and when we walked in and the clerk finished with the people she was dealing with she did not say hello, or speak only if I asked something not very welcoming did not ask how we were etc. not impressed

We went to use the pool and the water was too cold to go in. We like to book at stone Gate so we can go in the pool. And we had no hot water in our room for a bath or shower. Also they are doing renovations and its a real mess walking on the second floor drywall dust all over the place, they could at least vacuum the carpets Dailey . We did like staying there and we have many times before. But we may look elsewhere from no on.

I enjoyed a quick midweek stay at Stone Gate Inn when I decided to ski an extra day. I was greeted courteosly and my room was clean and spacious (King bed with fireplace) I found the grocery store next door handy to pick up some snacks. It was great having a mini kitchenette with dishes and a microwave to heat up some food I brought. The fireplace was a cozy touch on a cold night. The complementary breakfast was basic but had a nice variety to choose from. The pool is small. Stone Gate Inn is quaint and I'd stay again. I rated it 5 stars based on price.
