The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms on higher floors have great sunset views of the bay. The location near the ferry terminal makes catching a cab or the bus easy if you're not planning to rent a golf cart. It's within walking distance to the Malecon and some good bars and restaurants on the south side of Centro. It's about a 10 minute walk to Playa Centro and 15 to Playa Norte.
My only criticisms are very small and feel like first world problems. There were no outlets near the bed for charging phones. The latch on the bathroom door faced the wrong way, so the wind blew the door open the first couple days. That in turn made the room door noisy from the wind. If the bathroom door had stayed closed or had it not been so windy, it wouldn't have been an issue. There was some damage/wear to the comforter. We didn't use the pool. It's small and cold because it's shaded and doesn't get much sun.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would recommend the hotel if you're looking for an affordable, no-frills stay.
